Oh what a pain @rowlandscastle444! Deep breaths and count to 10. Sorry if this is a bit nosey - and don't be afraid to say, but are you just having an appointment or are you in for a slightly longer amount of time? Whatever the reason, I hope all goes well.

LB, I love your cartoon, and it describe perfectly today's situation, poor dinner ladies in schools and kindergartens.πΒ
Weather continued to be rough. We had two huge downpour, and everything is now soaked. I popped to the cottage just to se how it look like, and there is no damage, but my front garden is all smashed by wind and rain. Now I have very interesting experiment. My aunt brought my few quinces and I'm making jelly. It's very easy to make, and we should see results tomorrow morning. I didn't read back, but hope you are all well.Β Β Β Β

Hi @Ladybird4 Tests have shown a long term brain infection, but this is a follow up call to resolve what they say is an urgent matter. So wife and self are hurriedly packing and trying to sort legal issues, which solicitors are being slow and ponderous in. That in itself is stressful.Β
The timing of all this is causing me more seizures, and it's something I could do without. If I'd known there was going to be a serious health problem right now, I'd not have pushed to move this year. But financially, it seemed ideal. But I didn't have the tests until June, by which time we had got a buyer.
@rowlandscastle444 I'm so sorry to read about the doubly stressful times you are living through at the moment. Sending positive thoughts your way and you get today's hug - you certainly deserve it.

Ante, your weather sounds dreadful - thank goodness your fathers boat survived but how awful for others who didn't fare Β so well. I hate high winds, they frighten me to death and I do get rather anxious. We've got some awful weather coming tomorrow into Thursday, not looking forward to that at all. As @Red maple says, everywhere is still saturated from recent rains without any more falling. Good to see you @rowlandscastle444 . Typical that an appointment comes through just at the time you don't want it to. I hope you can arrange to do both. Good luck.Sorry to read that your father is not well. I do hope he gets well soon. LB, I managed to get a wee tree , in fact, I got twoπ Ideal for sitting on windowsill or some such place and will add a bit of festive-ness to mumβs room.
Good morning everyone .The rain is hammering down . It has kept me awake. Iam going to read .Then try to get back to sleep. I am not looking Β forward to what the weather has instore for us in the next few days .Hope everyone is asleep.Hazel ,love your little decorations .
Rubee, hope you managed to sleep again. I know your feeling.
Hazel, beautiful little tree. It will be very cheerfully for your Mum.Β
It's my free Wednesday. I only must drive mum to visit cemetery and it's all for today. Outside is beautiful sunny and bit chilly, but it's only short break. According to forecast, we will have another storm tomorrow night and again at Sunday. I'm not looking forward to that.Β Pets and birds are all fed, and now I can have my cup of tea. Yesterday I made quince jelly and it has lovely gold colour.Β

It doesn't help that my Dad is unwell too.
