It's still raining here. In a few minutes I must go out, luckily school is close to my house. I was at cottage yesterday, but it was all wet and muddy, so we just had a walk in the woods. I must go now. Wish you all a nice day.
Good morning Ante and all later arrivals. I forgot to say that yesterday I nipped over the road to see Jack, take him some cake and have a natter with him. He looked very well. He has been suffering with tinnitus for a week or so but it seemed to have subsided a bit and yesterday was a good day. He was enjoying the sunshine which beams directly into his front room. For once he was happy to be telling me off about overdoing things in the garden when normally its the other way around! I hope I'm doing as well as he is at 93!

Morning everyone, Goodness another thread already. Very misty over the garden and fields this morning. It was beautiful sunshine here yesterday afternoon. Had a nice couple of hours with my friend. In the evening watched Strickly, I guessed the right two couples in the dance off, but I think the wrong ones went home. It’s a very misty morning today, and cold with it - a typical autumn day, I think. The builder hasn’t arrived, but I expect it’s not safe to be scrambling about on roofs that are wet and slippy, so hope for a brighter day tomorrow. Typical, as yesterday the conditions were ideal, but of course, it was Sunday.
I’m debating whether to go to the coffee morning or stay put indoors. It seems to be lifting a bit, so will probably go. I’ve got 15 mins to decide.
