Good morning Hazel and all arriving later.
I guess that your mind is still whirling over the sale of your Mum's house Hazel but I'm sure 23's visit tomorrow will distract you. I wonder what games he will have you playing.
T'Bird, I couldn't agree with you more about the driving of some people. I have to negotiate extremely narrow roads going to Bestie's - not quite as narrow as yours - and meeting articulated lorries and farm tractors with wide trailers on the back means you have you keep fully alert especially when meeting the several blind bends en route. I try to get home before dark.

What ho Biglad! You sneaked in there. Just heard that the Warrington strike is now over. Handy brother, other brother and sis-in-law will be very happy as their bins haven't been emptied for 3 months.
Got some good news too about other brother, he took the driving test yesterday, necessary after his stroke earlier this year, and he passed. This is such good news and I'm sure it will restore his confidence.

Good morning SGL. I hope you are as well as you can be too. Are the Poppets getting excited about Christmas?

    That's great news about your brother @Ladybird4 :)Β Β

The wagon has just collected the glass/plastic recycling bins. I bet there are some folk not happy after being "rudely awakened by the dustman" :DΒ Β

  • Morning @Biglad that's very early for the bin men yo arrive. I wonder if there were any bins not put out for this morning 🀭
I'm very up and down @Ladybird4 really not looking forward to Christmas, but my boys are being so very kind and my poppets make me feel more like me. They are extremely excited and will make Christmas easier for me. I'll put on my best brave face for them.Β
Looks very cold and wet outside. But think it's stopped raining at the moment.

Morning again. Managed to get back to sleep but feel a bit groggy eyed at the moment. The sun is shining it doesn't feel as cold today so may have a wander around the garden and greenhouse and open the coldframes. The wind seems to have died down too.

    Hello all.

That was good news about your brothers, LB.

We enjoyed dinner with friends last night, a delicious beef casserole. Went to bed quite light, woke up late this morning.

I've dug up my huge dahlia which has out grown it's place. I will give it to the gardener who looks after the garden when we are in France. It was quite a job!
