    Morning all.

Good memory, LB, but I'm not planning yet, things to do here first, starting with going to friends for dinner tonight. Pantomime and opera dinner evening next week. Plane ticket is bought, OH will take me to the airport. Hope my car starts. There is wood by the woodburners. House will be cold when I get back.

Unmentionables to do today indoors and I must dig up the big David Howard dahlia to give to our gardening man.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Morning. Windy and cold today and we are expecting rain at some point. We have to pop to SM for weekly shop and then straight back home to the warmth.
I am due a hair cut next week( can't wait it's so long now) and then the plumber is coming to flush our all the radiators, not looking forward to that at all.
Biglad, I had to think twice to work out your post this morning...πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Rubee, how is your OH doing these days, and Rosie too? Is her foot any better? Have you started your crocheting throw yet?Β

Just for @Topbird...." habere bonum diem" !!Β

Hazel my OH is coping with his condition but he is still in a lot of pain .
Rosie says her foot is nearly better .Since hr strokes she needs a lot of quiet time .She gets very tired very quickly .Thank you for asking Hazel .
Yes I have started my throw . It is about six feet wide and I have crocheted about two feet.
It’s very colourful (not everyone’s cup of tea ) . I need to get the colour balance right .I want to
incorporate lots of colour but I don’t want it to be garish.

Sorry to hear your poor OH still has pain. It must be pretty dreadful to live with it day in day out. Such a pity that no treatment can ease things for him. Good to know Rosie's Β foot is nearly better and I can understand her need for peace and quiet and calmness. Please give her my best wishes.
Your throw sounds so vibrant, do you use wool for it or a special( cotton )wool for it?Β
We've done the weekly shop, it was very busy and it started to rain just as we decided to get in the car. Miserable Β day.Β

It will certainly give it lots of different textures if you're mixing up materials. Can't wait to see it when finished!Β

Good afternoon all. I had a lovely surprise today at Bestie's. Friend was up from Crewe having her hair done and they had decided to throw an early birthday party for me. I was quite touched by their fuss. It never stopped raining whilst I was there and I left at about 14:15 as it wasa beginning to go dark even then.
Ruby, your throw sounds impressive. I'll bet it keeps you warm whilst you are crocheting it. Could get quite heavy too.
