SGL, sorry to hear that you had another bad night. Try to rest. I managed to squizz all my stuff and presents in suitcase. One of my tea tin is somehow leighter, someone nicked few spoons for sure.π
LB, here is also quite cold, -1.
My plan for today is leave hotel, have breakfast, reach the airport and flight back home. I have time, so it will be all in slow mode.
Oops SGL, you weren't there when I first posted so a very good morning to you too. When I have had a run of bad nights I use Nytol (other sleep assisters available). It is a nice way to get some decent sleep. I don't use it very often but it is a real help. Look after yourself today and after your click and collect have a quiet day.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Good morning Ante. Enjoy your final day. I think that you said your flight is at 19:00? This does give you a chance to take things slowly. Time to mooch round in the airport too before you go.

We had a disturbed night as OH is thick with cold and coughing a lot. He went to bed yesterday afternoon but he's determined to wrap up well and go to the village fireworks and bonfire, postponed from the 5th.
It's the monthly farmers' market in the village hall this morning. I'll go to that but he won't. The poultry lady has pheasants and the veg lady will be there.
I hope you have a trouble free journey home @Ante1.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Good morning Busy. Sorry to hear your OH is full of cold. I haven't shaken mine off yet but it will go eventually. This is the sort of weather I associate with bonfire night - crisp and cold. I hope you find what you want at the Farmer's Market and have a super time at the fireworks display.

I'm sorry @star gaze lily had another bad night. I remember that difficult time but time eventually heals. At least it did for me, I hope it does for you π

Safe journey home Ante . I hope you enjoyed your London holiday . LB itβs very cold here too . I am hoping to get some tidying up done in the garden . I donβt think I will be out long .Busy sorry to read your other half is poorly . I hope he is soon feeling better. keep warm and have a good day folks .
Morning. Expected a frost last night but it hasn't materialised but it is bitterly cold. I don't normally watch Beechgrove, but did so last night, for a change. Towards the end of the programme, a chap started to pot out his broad beans so we are going to start a few off today, in the greenhouse which we hope, then, will be ready to plant out inMarch-April next year. Thus the chappie from Beechgrove said. Wecare waiting in for a parcel and then we must venture out. We are going to our favourite store Du**l* for a new brushed cotton duvet cover. Ours is beginning to get worn and feeling a bit rough.m Have a safe journey home Ante, hope you've enjoyed yourself here. Keep warm everyone.
