Good evening Ante. I can understand you feeling so tired - you have never stopped on this holiday. You will have some super memories to take home with you and I'm sure that you will be looking forward to seeing your family, friends and all your pets again.

    Good evening,
Sounds like youโ€™ve packed a lot into your time here in London @Ante1. Youโ€™ve seen more than I have (Iโ€™ve not been to London very often at all). I think you might need another holiday to recover from all youโ€™ve been able to pack in whilst here ๐Ÿ˜. Youโ€™ve posted some great photos.
Weโ€™ve had a relatively lazy day today, though did go into town to get a few bits and pieces for the freezer and cards to post off for the season of good will to family abroad.
I also managed to have my flu jab today at my local pharmacy. I thought I might have left it too late, but luckily not. Arm is a bit sore, but not too bad.

Good evening SGL and Red Maple.
I used my time here very well, must admit. Sadly, I have only one day to rest the best is possible, and next Monday back to school.
SGL, I'm intending to come back. Like many of you, I also can't imagine to live constantly in big city, but it's good to see new things, people and customs.ย

  • @Ante1 I wouldn't want to live there, I like living in our country village.ย  But my OH and I used to like visiting London very much. There's lots to see and do. You've packed in quite a lot during your holiday this week. I'm glad you've enjoyed it. Perhaps you could stay longer next time. Hopefully while his sister is away! ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‚ย

You're certainly making the most of your trip @Ante1 and it's clearly made you an even better person - you arrived looking for jellied eels and will leave with mince pies! Marvellous.

I lived in London for 4 years when I trained to be a nurse, then my first working year. I really didn't like living in a big city, thank goodness for the parks and art galleries.

Biglad, I made a right decision choosing mince pies.๐Ÿ˜‚
Busy, I'm really amazed how many parks are in London, and with so many birds and other animals.

  • Morning everyone, another rubbish night's sleep. I was still awake at 3 o'clock.
Hope everyone else has had a good nights sleep.ย
Safe journey home @Ante1 make sure you don't leave any of your goodies behind in landlords room ๐Ÿ˜‰
Must pop out today to pick up a click and collect. Then a lazy day for me.ย
Have a good day everyone, take care.
