Good morning Biglad and all to follow.

It's very dark and rainy morning. No wind, so I can use umbrella and walk to the school. I didn't slept quite well, so a bit tired this morning. Luckily it's Friday. I planning to plant all my bulbs this weekend, but rain might disrupt that. We shall see.

Wish you all a nice day, and see you later.Β

Greetings to the CA Biglad and all dropping by later.
Busy, that sounds to have been such an interesting and lovely day. Have a safe journey today.
I hope that SGL has had a better night's sleep. I woke up to fog this morning - deep joy!
I might have to think about a SM trip later as the village is shut tomorrow and Sunday for Remembrance Day parades.

    Morning all.
    Thank you, LB.

I didn't sleep very well. It tipped with rain and OH was snoring.

I must go and prepare for the off. Have a goid day everyone.

@Ante1 sorry you had a bad night's sleep. Hope it's not too hectic at school today.
Sorry you had a disturbed night too @Busy-Lizzie Glad you had a lovely day yesterday though.Β
Looks like it's rained overnight, but it looks OK at the moment. Fingers crossed it stays dry today. Fed up with all this rain.
Have a good day everyone. Take care.

I'm intrigued - how do you kidnap somebody at gunpoint and hold them hostage for a fortnight "by mistake"Β  :oΒ  Β

    Morning all.
Restless nights seem to be the norm again just now, I'm in that camp this morning. However, apart from a hairdressers appointment this afternoon, I will be having another quiet day. Still getting over our trip.,
Have a nice morning with your friend SGL, a good natter (and grumble ) will perk you upπŸ˜‚
Ante, last day of the week. Hope it's a good one for you.Β
LB, hope that fog clears, we hit fog over The Pennines, it can be scary when you're driving. It looks like the sun is trying to get out here but haven't been outside yet.Β
Busy, safe journey and hope all's well getting to the UK.

Gorgeous blue skies here. Another good day to be sitting inside hunched over a laptop!

You may sense I'm a bit grumpy at the moment :DΒ Β

Just got my car renewal quote through on e-mail. It's only up 65% so that's good. I drive fewer than 6,000 miles a year now and, for the first time, I'm starting to wonder if I actually need a car at all.

Try a GoCompare Β site @biglad, we normally find places there which are a lot cheaper. For the miles we do, like you, it's worth the trouble. That's a terrible hike in price.

Don't worry @Songbird-2 - I always shop around and stick to Martin Lewis' tip about quotes being cheaper 23/24 days prior to the renewal date. To be fair it was only Β£160 to start with. It's the newer drivers who are already paying Β£2k that a hike like that would really hurt.
