Good morning SGL and all who arrive later. Its been raining here as well SGL but when I brought my milk in it had stopped. I'm glad I got Lily's TV programme completed yesterday!
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Morning @Ladybird4 must have dozed off just after 6.30 for about an hour. Downstairs now with tea and toast. At least the rain has stopped, but looks misery outside.Β How is your arm LB.
Sorry you have been awake so early Lily.Try to rest at some point today .LB I hope your arm is more comfortable today . Very damp and overcast here but quite mild .xxx
I'm getting fed up with this phone. It keeps deleting posts just as I am about to post them.
I'm going to the dentist at lunch time, Son 2. The tooth that a bit chipped off a while ago keeps getting food stuck in it then it aches.
I hope I will feel up to gardening this afternoon. This, according to the forecast, will be the only sunny day for the next 2 weeks. Lots of rain is forecast. I have 50 violas to plant in the borders and a delivery of plants for shade to plant or pot on according to size. Some are for Son's shady bed which isn't ready for planting yet.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Ruby and SGL, my arm is still not brilliant. The pain has shifted though, from my right shoulder to my left. I think it will just take a bit of time but it has certainly made me aware that I shouldn't try doing things like that again. Thank you both for asking.
Busy, I hope that your son gets that tooth filled for you. I think toothache is one of the most wearing of pains. Hope that you get all the violas planted.

morning all. Very overcast and rainy here but mild. OH has gone off to sons to help him choose a new car and then we're back at sons this afternoon as it's his partners birthday. Children are on half term holiday.p so will see 23 and the girls. Ill try and finish wrapping the xmas presents whilst oH is out.
I carried out the 'sneaking out' plan yesterday afternoon so got an hour and a half of perfect delivering weather (although I did seem to be the only person walking around with a T-shirt on ).
It's been Marti overnight, is Marti now and is expected to be Marti for the rest of the week/weekend. Very glad I got another 80+ letters out of the way. Just 66 left, which I've got to do by the end of the weekend. A chunk of those are undeliverable (no letterboxes), I can't find them or I can't be bothered to trek a couple of miles up to a farm, hope it's the right one and evade and any loose guard dogs for the sake of another 65p Β So, I'm hoping that an hour getting wet on Sunday is all I've got left to do for this stint. General Election next year though!
Itβs a very wet Morning here today, but fortunately the builder came yesterday and sorted out the extension roof yesterday, so π€it behaves itself and we stay nice and dry.
Sorry your shoulder is still troubling you @L@Ladybird4. We do think we can still do the things we did 20 years ago without any problems donβt we? My back soon lets me know when Iβve overdone it. I hope the pain soon goes.
I think it will be a hunker down indoors day today as this rain looks set in for the day. We really donβt need it.
Morning Biglad and Red maple. Well done on the subterfuge Biglad. Just as well to be wary with the increased number of dog attacks on people. Why would people not have letter boxes - or have them in some obscure place it is difficult to find? Most odd.
Its started raining here again Red maple so I'll be hunkering down too.
