    Hi all.
Poor you Biglad, let's hope you don't get that call. Β
Done our weekly shops this morning and went into town. Still feeling the after affects of Tuesday so nothing much will be done in the remainder of the day I'm afraid.
SGL, have a quiet restful day, sorry you had such a rotten nights sleep.
LB, hope you enjoy"playing" with your new toy. Will the neighbours need ear plugs?πŸ€πŸ˜‚
Busy, have a nice bring and share lunch ,safe journey tomorrow.

    Afternoon all.

It was lovely and sunny day till an hour ago. Now is raining. I'll have an early dinner then will watch tv. Lieutenant Columbo is on, and I didn't see him at least ten years on tv. Good memories, and I love late Peter Falk.Β

Hello all. Busy, I hope that you have had a nice meet at the gardening club. What did you take to the bring and share lunch? Are you all ready for your trip tomorrow?
Yes, Biglad, the strike is over. Bang go your gardening plans!
Hazel, I wouldn't dream of disturbing my lovely neighbours but those rules do not apply when they are all out at work!
Gosh Ante. I think it is probably 10 years since I saw any Columbo series on TV.

    Evening all,

    Got the call! :(Β

I might get a couple of days off next week (or I might not). After that - Christmas Day. I wonder if the dentist is open then...

We enjoyed the gardeners' club. Four members did a power point talk of how they had bought their houses in France and made gardens from scratch, lots of lovely photos. The bring and share lunch was good, always a good choice of dishes. I took slices of roast pork and salad.Β

We must get up a bit earlier than usual, I have to take the bin bags to the big village bins, shut the shutters etc.

    Morning all (from the CA),

Just got to catch up on some electronic filing (not keen on that term but, as the yoofs say, it is what it is) today. Might get it done in time for an early dart but it's scant consolation with the 6 weeks to come. It will start to get silly again in a fortnight or so, although I'm told they're looking to employ an extra person to spread the load. It says something when it is acknowledged that 3 people have been doing the work of 4.

Forecast looks ok for tomorrow. I'll need to make the most of it!
