Bright and fresh morning here. Yesterday was also lovely and sunny day, so I went to cottage, and spent few hours up in the hills. Forecast is really awful for next few days, but I see that you will also have another storm. It's time for my tea.

Hazel, my new toy is an integrated music system that as well as playing Dab stations it will stream music from t'internet, play my CDs and - if I had enough speakers can stream music to all the rooms in my house. I doubt I will bother with that facility though.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
We are going to a gardeners' club meeting, followed by a bring and share lunch. It's English run and the meetings are in a community cafe in a little village 5 mins from here. I've missed a lot this year because of being in the UK. Just in time for this one as we are off tomorrow. 4 members are going to talk about how their gardens did this year.

Morning everyone, had an awful night's sleep last night. I was still awake after 3 o'clock. Will have a slow morning. It's not raining at the moment, do hope it stays dry today, I've had enough of the rain. @Ladybird4 your new toy sounds just as @Ante1 describes 😉🤣 Sounds really good though. I listened to the radio a lot. I turn it on when I get up, I don't turn the TV on in the morning for the news anymore. It's too depressing. @ante hope the weather here is dry for your visit, so you can travel around London and enjoy the sights. @Busy-Lizzie enjoy your day out with OH

My good mood didn't last long! Overnight it seems a deal has been done in the SAG-AFTRA strike
I'm guessing I'll get a call tomorrow to say, "You know that Monday morning that you thought you were going to have next week,....."
