    Morning all.

No rain forecast today, may even be some sun this afternoon! May plant the rest of my violas. Plenty of things to do indoors though before we leave on Friday.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Morning all. We were no good for anything last night after our visit to mum. Too much for us ( 6 hours driving) and too much for mum( 2 hours sitting with her). Will have to think of another strategy for our next visit.
Found Β one or two things amiss at the Home so will talk to brother about them. Doctor had been called to mum for yesterday afternoon as her eyes look terrible. She is very frail now, has little to say, asks the same questions time after time, and she looked tired out.
I see things which obviously caters do not so do wonder.... She got very upset when we left. Even OH( let alone me) was Β upset too at leaving her.Β
Tired out this morning so will be a quiet day is in the cards.

Morning to the later arrivals. @Bluejayway I love cow parsley and all the similar (though not the harmful relatives!) umbellifers. I will be taking a look at that one.
Hazel, I recognise all you have written about. It is a most distressing time for the family. My thoughts are with you x
    Horrid here too @rowlandscastle444
Good luck with the viola planting Busy - hope your borders are not too waterlogged or are you putting them in pots?
Just put a lemon drizzle cake in the oven to take to Bestie's tomorrow. Having my hair done and am looking forward to hearing all about the house news (sorry @r@rowlandscastle444 !)

    Morning,
wet and miserable here, but supposed to brighten this pm.
So sorry to read about your mum @Songbird-2. It’s a very worrying and distressing time for you all πŸ’.
Hope the move is happening @rowlandscastle444 🀞.
No plans for today, just general pottering.

  • Thank you all. No need to be sorry, @Ladybird4
I've chased all parties, and reminded them that it MUST be today!!Β

Good luck today @rowlandscastle444, sometimes solicitors drag their heels...so you know what's needed thereπŸ™‚
Have spoken to the Home Β and my brother. Mum has an eye infection and dry eyes so treatment given. Things are more dire than I thought so will have to wait and see what happens in the near future.Β
Going to have a quiet restful afternoon now.Β

Hazel - big virtual hug for you. Horrid situation especially when you're so far away x
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
  • Yes it was @Ladybird4 and rather annoying it was so late a time to arrive. I'm the same, couldn't really get to do anything and felt it was such a wasted afternoon/evening.
@Songbird-2 so very sorry to hear your mum is not so well and there are other problems too. Such a worrying time for you and your family. Do hope things improve. Thinking of you, sending best wishes and a hug.
@rowlandscastle444 do hope you hear something positive today about the house move.Β
Weather here is absolutely awful. A very misty, windy rainy day. Its got worse as the hours go by.Β
    Take care everyone.
