Morning Busy. Be careful geting up into your loft the next time you want to search through boxes and good idea about getting your flu jab done before you travel on Friday.

Good morning Ruby, you sneaked in there. If your weather is anything like mine you might not have much time to get into your garden today.

I've had my flu jab, been to the Red Cross with all my old jeans that I can't fit into anymore, bought 2 picture frames so that I can add photos of 2nd OH and me to the landing gallery and collected my Identity Card from the Mairie.

I tried sweeping the patio of leaves during a sunny period this afternoon, but the patio and leaves are so wet it was quite difficult. Then it started raining again. Will it ever stop?
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Busy, you have just taken the words out of my mouth. When I left my friend's house the rain started and by the time I got to my village it was hammering down. I was really glad to get home before it got too dark.
I had a walk down my back garden to fill the bird feeder and, sure enough, I have an underwater pond again! I think I need some waders.

@rowlandscastle444, that is a real pain for you. I'm assuming it is your buyers who are stuck in this chain?

    Thank you @Ladybird4
Still not exchanged today.Β  It is our buyers solicitors who is holding out. If it doesn't happen tomorrow, then it's not going to happen at all.
We've waited more than five and a half years, and it comes down to less than one day.Β
My wife is calmer than I am, unusually. There's nothing we can do until 9am tomorrow. Then, I WILL press solicitors. Hard.

Afternoon all. Out and about today visiting 1300 yearΒ old celtic cross, medieval carved grave slabs and ruined chapel. Then onto Ardbeg distillery for delcious culken skink and sandwich. One of 3 distilleries on a 3 mile stretch of road and they are building 2 more...Β Huge industry on this wee island.

    Sunrise this morning

    A zen spot:

It's to be hoped it's not midgey season...

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

    Nice to see you @Bluejayway
@rowlandscastle444, these things are sent to try us. As @Bluejayway said - all will be well. Carry on packing to distract yourself.
T'Bird, more stunning pictures - love, love, love the Zen one! My friend in Crewe has invested in bottles of Ardbeg T'Bird. I have to say that I can't quite get my head around that. Is it possible to actually make anything on whisky? As for kilted yoga - I don't think so
