Thank you all for the birthday wishes. Just back from a trip to Norwich. Took us ages to get home as the A11 was closed for an accident / vehicle fire. 2 diversions - one completely gridlocked and the other on tiny country roads. We took the second only to find vehicles turning round because the small ford across the road had turned into a very fast flowing stream after the floods.
Looked quite daunting but the car in front decided to risk it - which gave us excellent feedback as to how deep it actually was. Not as deep as it looked so we were fine!
Picked up some dim sum dumplings and a pecan tart for dinner😋
Hope your and Rosie's tickly throats don't develop into anything unleasant Rubee.
My kitchen island arrived this morning, 4 days late. We spent 5 hours putting it together. OH did all the screwing with his electric screw driver. I'm not very good with a screw driver now that my fingers are swollen with arthritis. I unpacked, sorted it all out and handed OH the pieces to be screwed. It looks well made, German, and the instructions were good. I'm pleased with it.
It has rained a lot more. The lawn is squelchy.

It turned out to be beautiful sunny day. I had time to plant pansies which I bought in Lidl last week. Now is time for my dinner.
