I feel it's rather misleading. 'Pompon des Princes' is rarely used these days and they used to sell it as 'Ispahan', as everyone else does.. so the rose is not 'new' to them.
This is happening rather too much in the rose world these days, you could inadvertently buy a rose you already have..
I totally agree, Marlorena. I had both La Rose du Petit Prince from TW and Rose Synactif from Peter Beales bookmarked to buy separately (I do love lilac and lavender hues). Same rose! And Peter Beales still reckon they are selling a UK exclusive there.
Just renaming a rose and marking it "NEW!" is a bit shonky of TW, though!
Order from https://roseraie-ducher.com/en/ was delivered in 8 days.. Was not sure if it would make the trip given the political issues.. a bit expensive but having an option is good.. Final charge would include phytosanitary certificate and shipping.. I guess 5 roses or so would be the minimum (not sure on that).. great customer service- responds promptly to mails.. One extra (Gift) included with the package..
Gloire de Ducher' was the gift.. would have preferred something else, but nice of them to sent one...
Great selection @cooldoc .. when I spoke with Florence Ducher some time ago, she told me I would need to order a minimum of 6 roses for it to be profitable for them..
They send out nice labels don't they.. I've coveted 'Stephane Bern' for a few years..
Could somebody help me choose between Scepter'd Isle and Scarborough Fair for a rather shady south-west facing spot? Nothing overhanging but house on the east side and trees all around. I suspect it might not be the best idea but I'd like to fit as many roses as I possibly can Thank you!
@cooldoc what a lovely smorgasbord of roses, three of those were on my shortlist to accompany Marie Ducher - Gruss an Coburg, Stéphane Bern and Nouchette. I keep greedily returning to Ducher’s website thinking should I or shouldn’t I.. I am trying very hard to resist!
I also got a freebie of Gloire de Ducher once, but it didn’t suit my climate and I didn’t like the way the stunted blooms squatted low amongst the foliage.
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
@Dasha I chose 'Scepter'd Isle' for a similar location and it did very well for a number of years until I wanted a change, so that's the one I would recommend to you..

My Ispahan won't be changing it's name any time soon.

Yesterday I was doing some cleanup in garden and saw that seeds on daisy seedhead are sprouting. Looked interesting.
