It's raining since this morning. It was much warmer day, but grey and wet. I was inside whole afternoon, and made plans for my trip. Later I went to my neighbor, and now I'm ready for dinner and bed. Tomorrow is SM shopping. I'll make cup of tea and read back, and later watch tv.
That's disappointing Busy to get a rubbish load of logs, not going to be much use to you.I presume your OH needs the axe for them?? Hopefully you will still be able to book the pantomime when you catch a moment...perhaps an on line booking? Ante, how many more weeks until your UK trip? Is it during your half term? Hazel, one more month and I'll have my short vacation. It's one week autumn break, something which was introduced first time last year. I hope that London will be prepared for C****s holidays. 😁 Hope you will have a decent night sleep.

Also need to pick up 2 little porcelain doorknobs for the landing cupboard that I painted white. They are rather pretty, white porcelain with blue Delft type flowers. Probably a bit old fashioned.
Should finish log stacking this afternoon. It's not such a big load as last year because I had quite a lot left over. OH has discovered that he is not as good at splitting logs as he was when he was younger!

Good morning Busy, Ante and all arriving later. I think I overdid the lumberjacking yesterday as a painful right arm kept me awake most of the night. I will have to be careful at the food bank today and avoid the heavy bags.

Morning everyone, absolutely hammering down. Looks so grey and miserable outside. Having my haircut late morning, hope it's stopped by then. Half term next week and the weather forecast looks horrendous. My little grandson had his tonsils out yesterday. He's only 4. Had it done early morning and was home at 6 o'clock. Feels too quick to me. But they don't seem to keep anyone in long any more. Have a good day everyone, hope you have dry weather. Take care.

I woke at 6.45am which is 5.45 in the UK.
