Good afternoon all. I had quite a productive morning sorting through old paperwork. Some went straight into the recycle bin and some is destined for the shredder. I was then taken by a friend to that big warehouse style shop - where you need a card to get in - and I was astounded by it. From my point of view, most items come in bulk which is not too good for me as I would need a freezer the size of a shed! Selective purchasing will be the order of the day the next time I visit.
Busy, it was perhaps a reminder to you to get your tooth seen to when the chocolate walnut triggered off the pain again. I've never had a chocolate walnut but adore chocolate brazils.
Ruby, sorry to read about your OH's tummy bug. I do hope that he is over the worst now and I'm glad Hazel asked about Rosie as I was going to do that myself. Say hello to her from me.
Ooh Hazel, much excitement about the pantomime. 23 will love it I'm sure. You'll have to practice 'He's behind you!' and 'Oh no he isn't!'
Red maple, I know the forecast is rather bleak for tomorrow but I'm hoping to get into my garden. I still have so much do before Winter.

LB, hmmmmπŸ€” I can't think where this is? Another clue?

Much Β excitement indeed LB, with the forthcoming panto but the sad thing is, that 23 doesn't know the story😒 So I've ordered the Ladybird book( πŸ˜‰) of Jack and the Beanstalk Β so he knows what to expect when we go.

@Ante1, your dinner with family and friends sounds just the job to relax and enjoy good food and company and you deserve it after all the hard work you put into your life. Hope that warmer weather arrives on time tomorrow.

It was 22Β° today but not sunny.

I went to the photo machine in the SM so now I have, hopefully, all that I need for my identity card.

I have an appointment with dentist son next week. I love chocolate Brazil nuts, LB. Walnuts are a bit of a speciality of Dordogne, also walnut oil. Makes a nice salad dressing.

A log delivery arrived today so there will be stacking tomorrow.

I weeded the donkey fence bed today. I started with 6 foxgloves in that bed, now there are lots. Clematis Kermesina is flowering again and Anemone Honorine Jobert is looking lovely.Β

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

A very good morning one and all.
Prompted by your mention of your clematis Busy, I have to say that my Clematis rehderiana is making a bid to take over the Crescent. I was in the garage the other day putting the last of the bird food (more expected today) into a feeder when I felt a gentle brushing of my head. Expecting the usual spider's web I brushed over my head just to find it was a tendril from CR which had snuckered in under the garage roof. I cannot believe how I missed this the other day as it is easily a metre long! Nature never fails to astound me! My Honorine Jobert is looking fine too.

Hazel, I meant to say the other day when you mentioned Planet Earth 111 the first time that I have already got that marked in my diary. I am really looking forward to yet another superb series from David Attenborough and his team.
