    Evening all,

Been a bit of a write-off today. My only day off has been largely spent nodding off! Just remembered road tax and meter readings due :o At least that will be something productive done for the day.

  • Thank you LB, Lily and Hazel.  I slept most of the day and just had some cereal.  Feeling improved.  Hope everyone’s okay.  Rosie

Good morning Rosie and all to follow.

We have another beautiful morning. I just poped in to say Hello and that I'm still alive😂. I received so lovely mail form one of our Rezz friends, and thank you all for concern. Last week was absolutely hectic, and I didn't have much free time. All huge works at cottage are finished, and it should be much easier from now. I'm going to finish my tea then must go.

Have a nice day and see you all later.

Good morning Rosie, SGL and all. Well the start of a new week - sorry Ante - and I've just heard the confirmation that first class stamps are now going to cost £1.25. I think I will be giving serious thoughts to the looming festive season and hand delivering the cards I can and replacing other cards with digital ones. I typically write out about 100 cards - many of which can be hand delivered - but approximately 60 get posted, and what with the second class stamp being 0.75, when you work out the costings it starts to get very expensive. I send several cards to Canada and Australia too.
@Biglad, bad luck for your frustrating day but a good result for Europe in the Ryder Cup. The rugby match was a good watch.
I wonder if I will be able to get some gardening done today 🤔

Lovely to see you Ante! A very good morning to you. So pleased that you are over the biggest jobs at the cottage. I bet you will be planning looking in catalogues for next seasons seeds when you have a quiet moment.

  • Morning everyone,  Very thick fog here. Can't see the garden, fields or woods at all. It feels quite warm though.
@wfnp5bk4spsSNFYKh1 I did nod off eventually Rosie, but it was gone 2 when I last looked at the clock 🤦🏻‍♀️ Hope you got to sleep too.
I meant to get one book of first class stamps @Ladybird4 but forgot them when I went shopping Friday....I went to a self service till.... and then forgot. Never mind, I have plenty of 2nd.  They're expensive enough.
Good to see you @Ante1 glad you're well.
@Biglad hope you enjoyed the golf ⛳️
