Good morning LB and all to follow.

LB, have a nice time with Bestie and Quiz friends.

We still have very warm and sunny weather. That means that I must water front garden every day. This week I also spent at cottage, but it was much easier than last week. I was summoned to police station twice. Don't worry they didn't arrest me. First time I went to renew my passport, and they forgot to take my finger prints, so I went once more yesterday. This time I'll need passport to travel.
Now is time for cup of tea and school. Luckily it's Friday.

    Wish you all a lovely day.ย  ย

Good morning Ante - goodness me you made my heart jump then! I was so relieved to read it was just about your passport! We are supposed to be having a nice, warm weekend ahead but all I can see at the moment is rain on my windows. Its too dark to see if this is just the remains of overnight rain or if it is still coming down.

Morning early birds. LB, you were up very early today. I didn't sleep well last night, might ย have had something to do with attending a very rowdy councillor ward meeting and then watching a disturbing programme about Nazi's. Note to self, don't watch such programmes late at night.
Ante, you had my heart in my mouth too๐Ÿ˜ฌ Thought you'd been arrested or something๐Ÿ˜‚ As LB says, we are due some nice warm weather at the weekend too, which I think we will all appreciate after this coolish week.
Boiler man coming soon, then hair appointment then visit to daughter, busy day ahead.ย

  • Morning all, back from a breezy walk. ย Just having tea. ย Rosie

Good afternoon all. Had a lovely meet up and meal with the Quizzers today. We were all saying how quickly these weeks are galloping away. Everyone laughed when they heard about Bestie's double booking. I bet she will just be nibbling at the Chinese meal tonight!
Rosie, it has been fairly breezy all day here. I do hope that the weather forecasters are right about this weekend and that we get some sunshine. I still have some daffodil bulbs to plant.

    Glad you enjoyed yourself, LB.

We've had a lovely day out at Blickling Hall with our free NT tickets. It's over an hour from here, north of Norwich, takes us longer because we go the country way, not the A11, prettier, not much traffic.

We visited the house first, which was interesting, then had lunch, then looked at the walled garden and the formal garden. A lot of the veg had been harvested and flowers were over but there was still enough to make it worth it.

Evening all. Busy day has come and gone and not in the right order either! Our plumber didn't turn up on time and in the meanwhile my hairdresser texted to ask if I could go in earlier as she had a large gap in her schedule.

So off I went this morning and the plumber turned up whilst I was out. During my hair appointment our son Facetimed me as he was visiting mum. I couldn't take the call with my head in my chest so tried to facetime them when I was done. No reply. Got home and son tried me again and got through. It was so nice to see mum, a nice surprise.

ย Dinner came and went and then popped to daughters where we decided to do get some retail therapy and 2-3 hours later, I arrived back home.ย

I am now tired out so hoping to sleep better tonight, should do as I was up early( for me).

LB and Busy, glad you both had a good time today in your activities. Busy, it's a long time since we visited a Stately a home and the gardens, I do like walking round them, must try harder next year. LB, I expect ย you, too, will be nibbling tonight, a meal at dinner time can sometimes do for the remainder of the day, apart from a few snacks.ย

Looking forward to GW tonight, so will sign out for now. Have a pleasant evening everyone.ย
