Good morning everyone. Big Lad donโt work too hard ,you sound tired .Ante enjoy your day of rest. LB enjoy your day . Our world is in a dreadful state .Some good news would be light relief.
Morning all. Son and 23 are visiting this morning so must get a move on. I, too, think the news from abroad makes for horrific reading, everywhere there seems to be massive troubles, whether it's wars or earthquakes and so many losing their lives. It seems never ending. Even with our local and national news, there are dreadful events going on with stabbing snd ย murder, what is this world coming too? I hope everyone has a good day, it looks like we've had rain overnight and it's very overcast just now.
Afternoon everyone,ย we have a very warm sunny day again today, hoping its as lovely as yesterday. The sun was still shining gone 5 o'clock.ย Cut the grass front and back yesterday... apart from the very back section. Youngest son is going to do that for me this afternoon.ย Hope everyone is well, sorry I haven't read back.ย Are you pleased with your new car @Ladybird4 and how is Jack?ย Hope your OH is as comfortable as possible @Rubee And that your OH is better now @Busy-Lizzie @Songbird-2 how is your mum, hope she's fully recovered from covid now. Have a lovely Sunday everyone, take care.
Had a change of plan on the delivery front. I knew they were spread out but was given the impression it was areas that I did earlier this year with a few extras chucked in. On closer examination, it's very few in the areas I've done before and loads in areas that I haven't. Spent this morning looking at a street map and sorting them into a logical delivery order (they arrive in street name alphabetical order, which is pretty unhelpful) so wasn't ready in time for my lift. At least I'll be ready to rumble next weekend and I've been able to do a bit in the garden instead.
Good afternoon, Itโs turned into a pleasant afternoon now, with some sunshine and very mild. The cloth thingies are drying nicely outside. Been out for Sunday lunch today - it has saved me racking my brains for a meal. We donโt tend to have a typical Sunday lunch at home, but today we had one in the GC cafe and very nice it was, too. Hope everyone is ok and enjoyingSunday.
Good afternoon all. It has been a nice day today. Like you @Red maple, I decided to put Lily's TV on and get the wet cloth things out. Of course the minute I did that the sun disappeared. I'll check how they are doing in a moment.
SGL, I am pleased with my new car thank you. When I picked up Bestie on Friday, I put the passenger seat back massage on for her - she loved it!
Just think how fit you will be after those deliveries next weekend Biglad!
My next door neighbours have been working flat out in their garden this afternoon. I am so glad I got rid of all my grass after watching their efforts.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
It's been a quiet day. My tummy isn't quite right, been slightly painful. I hope it's OK tomorrow when we are dining with friends and on Tuesday when other friends are coming to dinner.
I have watched Strictly and have pushed a yellow cloth around.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Afties all. Quietish afternoon after visit from son and 23. Lego, colouring and Pokรฉmon play were the order of the day. 23 took a last look at his bean as it's dying off now. We picked the one and only bean from it and opened it up. Seeds aren't viable but advised 23 that they would be sown and see what happens! Coincidentally, I looked ย on line later to see what Pantomime ย was showing this year - couldn't believe it when I saw Jack and the Beanstalk! We just haveย to take 23, don't we?? ๐คญ๐
@Busy-Lizzie, I do hope your tummy settles down for you. I wonder if it's a flare up of what you had before, Diverticulitis? I hope not but take it easy for a while until it,hopefully, eases off .ย
Oh Hazel, that pantomime was meant to be! You MUST try and get 23 there.
Biusy, I echo what Hazel said. Does this feel like a flare up of what you had before? Have you any peppermint? A hot infusion of that often helps.
Just brought in the nearly dry cloth things and filled up the bird feeders - must make a note to get some more food ordered as I'm at the very bottom of the dustbin I bought to store it. Not even enough left to fill a bird feeder!
