Morning @wfnp5bk4spsSNFYKh1 Rosie, I can't sleep either. Been awake since just after 4.ย Have laid here for ages trying to get back to sleep. I'm giving up and going downstairs for a cup of tea. Hope you've managed to get back to sleep.ย
Good morning Rosie and SGL. I'm another who has been awake since the wee small hours. I read for a bit then managed to grab another cat nap. Going into town this morning to speak to a 'real' person in a 'real' bank!
Sorry SGL, I forgot to answer your question about Jack. I am pleased to report he is doing well. He was going out for lunch yesterday to our favourite GC with his daughter. I am going to take some cake over to him later today when I get back from the bank so I will get all of his gossip. I had a bet on with him that he would have sea bass! Its his favourite meal at the GC and having had it myself in the past, it is always delicious.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Morning @Ladybird4 Glad Jack is ok LBย he'll enjoy his day out with his daughter. And then seeing you to enjoy cake and chat....telling you about his day. Looks very autumnal outside this morning. The leaves on the trees have suddenly started to change colour.ย ย When I cut back the roses on Saturday I had a lovely bunch of roses to bring indoors. Such a lovely vase full.ย Going to take myself to Brighton today, hoping to find some new long cardigans for the colder months ahead. Hopefully more successful than when I tried last year.ย Have a lovely day everyone, take care.
I slept well. I think tummy is a bit better and OH has reminded me that he had the same problem a few days ago so it's probably a bug.
OH is having his flu vaccination at midday, then we are going to Sainsbugs to get some veg for my dinner party tomorrow. It's near Been Q so OH can buy some wood to make a frame to put our new house sign on.
I hope everyone who slept badly manages to enjoy their day.
I hooe you find a long cardigan @star gaze lily. I remember when you were looking for one last year. I had recently bought one but it was from my favourite clothes shop in France, Armand Thierry.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Thank you @Busy-Lizzie Yes I was looking for them last year too, but couldn't get one. Jumpers seemed more popular. I like jumpers on other people, but I don't find them comfortable. Especially something high around my neck.ย Glad you're feeling better this morning. Hope all goes well with OH flu jab.

Did you mean fit? @Ladybird4 I think you meant knackered!
