Ruby, what absolutely BRILLIANT pictures. Thank you so much for sharing them with us. I'm sure you deserve to be in The Panto Gang too! Love those pics!
Still raining here - deep joy! Just found out I will be quizzing again tomorrow night. That will be fun.

Oh, I like ย that @Red maple, Panto Appreciation Society, marvellous๐๐And @Rubee, what a gem, you look wonderful ๐ I wouldn't ย cast you as a witch though, oh no I won't.....you'd have to be a nice lady๐๐What part were you playing in the middle picture? Looks super. Glad to hear your throat ย is returning to normal too @Red maple, hate sore throats particularly when to try to swallow, like chomping sand paper๐ฌ We have a Veronica ย Spicata sending up some new flower stems with flower heads on them, peculiar ย weather indeed.ย Talking of pantos and seeing a Rubee's ย pictures, reminds me of when I was in the Choir( my piano teacher was also a( cracking) singing teacher ...taught people to sing.. and she set up lots of choirs for different ages using all her pupils. ย As a teenager I took part in a musical she put on and I played one of the chimney sweeps in Mary Poppins. I remember ,when getting to the last bit of the song, and singing a high Chim Chim Cheroooooo.....and jumping off the stage ( with others) which gave all the audience a huge surprise.....and lots of laughing and clapping afterwards. Happy days. ย In fact, just this week, whilst visiting mum, we drove past the community Hall where we did the musical. I always mention it, when passing, much to OH's amusement.
Rubee, a wizard is a great part to play, after all, you're magical โบ๏ธ Our Choir was all female too. We used to dress as chaps sometimes, it was all great fun. LB, get your mind in gear for tomorrow night and swot up on some general knowledge, it may come in handy. ๐
We may be going to The Sleeping Beauty in December.
I went to Harvest Festival at church this morning. I like traditional things like that. It was looking very pretty with flowers, fruit and veg and there was the usual collection of groceries etc then tea and cake afterwards.
Late afternoon yesterday I went to see the friend my sister was staying with as she lives quite near. She hadn't come to lunch as she wasn't feeling very well but we'll arrange a proper meeting when she's feeling better. My sister and BIL dropped in on their way home today.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Very complimentary, thank you Hazel .The pics are a bit fuzzy but they are about forty five years old .Your choir must have been fun to watch and to listen to .I would have loved to see you as a chimney sweep. Thank youRed Maple .
