Afternoon all. Had a lovely meet up with the quizzers and the lunch was absolutely marvellous. Next one will be October 6th.
Hazel, I was so sorry to hear about your Mum as it reminded me of how my Mum was. You just have to keep reminding yourself that she is safe and looked after 24/7. We had a care package in place for her but eventually it became the times when the carers WEREN'T there that became the problem and we finally decided that she needed to be in a home. Such a hard decision to make but in the long term was the only answer. Don't feel bad Hazel. Its tough love.

Hazel sorry to hear mum is so sad being away from her natural surroundings. I’m glad she was so very pleased to see you. Although I can appreciate that makes you feel sad too. LB I’m glad you had a lovely time to be repeated. Lily enjoy the poppets visit. It’s more autumnal today and coat wearing weather, a sprinkling of rain and a cooler breeze.
Good morning @Biglad and all dropping in later. All I have to say, Biglad, is it must have been a really boring match! When I arrived home yesterday there was a little red card through my door to say that there was a parcel left in my blue (paper & card) bin. It turned out to be my Heleniums and Rudbeckia. I managed to get them all planted out into the garden. I'll check on them all later. I enjoyed the T20 match last night and am looking forward to the 3rd match tomorrow. I think I will have another gardening day today - weather permitting.

Morning everyone, A very damp misty morning here in Sussex. Do hope we get some sunshine. Had a lovely day with my Poppets and their mummy and daddy yesterday. Lots of fun at home and also a walk to the woods and duck pond. Fed the ducks and also played Pooh sticks under the little bridge. Hoping to get a few little plants in the border today. Moved a Potentilla in the gap where the Box ball was. Have a Hawkshead fushia to put next to it and will pop the three little new plants in gaps. @Songbird-2 So sorry to hear about your mum. I can imagine the beautiful smile you got when she saw you. I can understand exactly how you are feeling. It was a hard decision when my mum had to go into a home. But she did settle and made a couple of new friends. I agree with everything that @Ladybird4 and @wfnp5bk4spsSNFYKh1 have said. I know it's upsetting for you at the moment, but you know she is safe and being looked after. Sending you a big hug, take care Hazel x

Hadn't realised that Joke-a-vitch was playing when I woke earlier, so ended up watching that instead of doing some pest control in the garden.
