    Morning all.

Good to see you back @chicky. I'm glad you had a good time and that your family are together again.

It will be another hot day here. Should last until Friday and Saturday is forecast much cooler, maybe rain. That is the day of son's 40th birthday party.

Morning everyone,  back from Edinburgh yesterday eve after a delayed journey.  Garden needs attention after just a week so yours must need a lot doing @chicky.  Ours looks as if autumn has set in here already. Dry but dull here.

Morning all, another very hot day, I'm finding it difficult to function in this heat. I guess as I'm over 27 my temperature gauge doesn't work so well! Another two bowls of tomatoes picked early this morning, but now it's too hot to do anything with them!
Glad you had a lovely holiday with your family @chicky

We're up to 38°C with a hot dry Sirocco.

    Stuff the speedoes @Hostafan1 !!  B)

    Hi all

Glad you had a great holiday, @chicky
My hip continues to improve, but I am still feeling very out of sorts, think it might be the codeine.
Thanks for that idea, @tui34, I now cannot unsee the idea of @Hostafan1 stuffing his speedoes.

Afternoon all, very humid here and cloudy most of the time. I've just been pottering around so far, done some washing and hoovering and then ventured out into the garden.
Planted 3 big clumps of old aubretia under the wall on the outside verge and also a clump of baby cyclamens under the big maple tree in the hope that they may then spread in future years. I managed to get my finger torn on a rose thorn, so now have two plasters, one on each hand. For someone who's been told to be very careful because of the blood thinners I'm taking, I'm not doing any well.

I'll go back out later when my lunch had subsided.

    Welcome back @chicky, lovely photos.

    Gosh, that's hot @tui34, I don't think I could cope with that.

Very hot here too, but thankfully not as much as other parts of Europe. Cleaner has come and cleaned the whole kitchen. A bit odd having a stranger around but I have to get used to it. I am happy I did it even if expensive.

@coccinella, I thought the same when my new cleaner started but she's so much quicker than me. It's lovely having the house so clean and sparkly! The only problem is that I'm sometimes sitting wondering what to do.
