    Morning all.

    It will be hot again this afternoon. Dordogne is on an orange alert. Maybe I should invite @Hostafan1 to stay!

    Hello all, like you @Busy-Lizzie we are on orange alert, it's not even cooling down at night, it's too hot to cook so salads for us for the next few days 😎

    Orange alert here as well - carpaccio of beef and huge green mixed salad for lunch!  Air con on this afternoon and the house tightly shuttered.  

    Stay cool Busy-Lizzie and @f@floralies  Drink plenty of cool water.
    A good hoeing is worth two waterings.

    My guess is that would trigger a deluge 🛶

    Happy for a deluge at the moment @Dovefromabove. The garden would be too I think.
    I don't have air conditioning but I do have a fan.

    I've got air con in my house. 
    Switched it on 12 years ago when we moved, just to make sure it worked, and it's never been on again.

    OH said it was very pleasant in Norfolk this afternoon, 24°. He took the steam train from Holt to Sheringham. He had wanted a pint in a pub but the pubs were all full of people watching football.
