    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
    Hope you’ve warmed up a bit @Pat E   😊
The muntjac moved on … now the woodpecker is yaffling … but we gave to be awake as it’s OH’s first day back to work and I’ve got courgette/marrow and date chutney to make …

Morning all, I'm up early as well, can't seem to sleep much after 6 am as the pain in my side gets uncomfortable by then and I'm better sitting upright with a couple of painkillers. It's much better than it was thankfully. Looked really stormy when I got up but the sun is trying to break through the cloud on the hills opposite and the birds are arriving for their breakfast. Got a longish list of outdoor jobs to do today, while it's still dry or at least, OH has! Not sure if he'll be motivated enough though. I can really only do standing up jobs and then only for half an hour or so so slowly does it.

    Enjoy your day everyone.

Muntjac are small deer @Pat E

    https://bds.org.uk/information-advice/about-deer/deer-species/muntjac-deer/

They were introduced by one of the Dukes of Bedford to the Woburn estate … when I was a small child our farm bordered the estate and they ate our crops … they were scarce then bug they’ve spread across most of England now.

Yes, they are coming into my garden, along with the Red Deer, with monotonous regularity and wreaking havoc on my plants.

Morning all, a very foggy morning here after a huge storm last night with hail stones, plenty of sweeping up to do. A mozzie kept waking me up in the night, seems like the plug in deterrent isn't working so well after all. Another hot day forecast when the fog lifts, it's getting too hot and humid!

    Good morning everyone.

No storm here @floralies but a perfect day yesterday for planting out my winter vegetables.  We had spots of rain and very humid weather.  Sunny today.  So, in a way the sun was peeing yesterday, in fact rather incontinent!!  Oh for some real rain!!

You were awake early @Dovefromabove   I actually had a great night's sleep last night due to all the work and pain yesterday!  Nice to have an extra day off @AuntyRach  I hope you enjoyed the rest.

So rest day for me today as well.

I hope you all has a pleasant day.

Good on yer mate @punkdoc !!   Let the slices soak for a bit - could be rather nice with a blob of vanilla ice-cream - better still - dipped in some brandy.  Oh stop it!!

    Nice lot of chutney @Dovefromabove

I have made some chicken with peppers, onions, courgettes, aubergines from the garden.  Chicken à la ratatouille more like - but goes down a treat with quinoa!
