    Morning all.

I don't use autocorrect because, like @Ante1, I need 2 languages, French and English.

I'm glad your back is better, LB.

I weeded and deadheaded the Jewel bed yesterday, then I watered it. Needn't have bothered, there was a storm in the night and now it's tipping with rain.

Booked flights to and from the UK yesterday for November and December. The price has gone up a lot. We used to get tickets for £10. OH is going back to Norfolk on Thursday. I go back mid September. The Brexit allowance has messed things up.

Good morning Debs and Busy. I have everything crossed here that your fiancé finds a better job satisfaction soon. It will be nice having him nearer home too so you can have more quality time together.
Busy, I sometimes think that Mother Nature waits until we either begin a job in the garden or think about it and then she turns the taps on. I suppose we have to expect stranger times to come with climate change and global warming. I am still concerned about the huge lack of pollinators in my garden this year compared to the last two years.
This afternoon I am meeting up with my friend to fill in our applications for the TV shows. That should be fun.

I have lots of bumblebees and butterflies. There were hardly any when I first moved here but now I've planted lots of flowers. Raspberry flowers look so insignificant but they are always covered in bees.

    Good morning debs and Bussy.

LB, yellow pear tomatoes is cherry type and plant is quite vigorous. Two plants are more than enough for one person. Next time I'll photo whole plant and fruits.

I also notice that plane tickets price is much higher. I'm planning something for this December, but it's still only planning. We shall see what will be.

    Hi all.
It's rained here all morning and has only just stopped. Everywhere is saturated. We popped to the famous DIY store and came away with a nice pot full of Rudbeckia, they look in very good  condition  and another rambling geranium. Plans are afoot to make some changes again, in the garden,so we are getting plants ready to fill some gaps when plants are moved  about. Have noticed we seem to have lost one of the tumbling teds in the big planter but can't find them now in the centres. Think we've missed the boat now until next year.
We did pop to a couple of g/c's yetseray and came away with a lovely ceramic, oval shaped bird bath, adorned with two little birds at one end. It is cream in colour. Well, we have a dilemma, as when we place it round the garden trying to find the perfect spot, it just reminds us of a toilet seat😲😬🤭😂! So, it's currently residing in a cold frame until we decide what to do with it😂
We picked up four Dianthus  Deltoides Brilliant to replace ours which the birds( earlier on in the year) pulled out of the ground ( nesting I think). Got some planted yesterday and have two more to plant out.
I've had the hot metal flat thing out this morning ......oops....
LB, yes, I've spoken to mum now, she's doing well ( putting a brave face on) but even brother has admitted that she is not particularly enjoying/happy  being there.
  • We had a few showers overnight, but this morning has been warm and dry. It was good to have pots watered naturally. Certainly saves me the task.
Rudbeckia is so bright and cheerful, @Songbird-2
    Lovely.
  • Afternoon all.  A rainy day today, up late so haven’t caught up.  Hazel your bird bath sounds lovely, you have been a busy bee.  LB so pleased to read your fully recovered from your fall.  I had a lovely afternoon shower but quite wobbly.  Rosie
