Afties all. Well filling in those forms took ages. They were very comprehensive and the one for Pointless wants pictures and a video so we will arrange another date to do that. It never stopped raining so I was happy for once that I couldn't get into the garden. Not doing any league quizzing tonight so am looking forward to seeing Only Connect and Uni Chall.
Rosie, I hope that you are taking things nice and easy until the dizziness subsides.
Hazel, I did smile at your description of the bird bath. I guess it didn't look like a toilet seat when you saw and bought it in the GC?
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Good morning everyone . I havenβt had a wink of sleep yet .Itβs been one of those nights .I hope you are all fast asleep .I will read for a little longer then try to get back to sleep .
Good morning Ruby. I do hope that you have managed to nod off again now. I was awake quite early but did manage some more sleep. Hoping for some time - clear of the wet stuff - to garden today. There are still some flags grinning at me from the pond!
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Good morning Biglad. I believe the weather is going to gradually improve through this week (I want it nice for Thursday please!) and get a bit warmer. Get out there and get on with it!

Ruby, hope you managed to have a bit sleep and rest.Β
Windy and warm morning. Today is bank holiday here, so everything is closed, except restaurants. I think I'll have one more day of rest. Didn't mentioned before, but next Monday I must return to school. Pupils have two more weeks of summer holidays.Β Now tea.
Good morning Ante. Oh nooooo! Where has your summer gone? Will your timetable change this year so that Monday will not be a bad day for you? Our Bank Holiday is 28th of this month. Is your holiday today because of it being a holy day?

It' a bank holiday in France too today, feast of the Assumption.
We had more storms in the night. The thunder at 3am was almost continuous with constant flashing of lightning through the window, followed by heavy rain. It kept me awake again.
Son 2 rang yesterday to ask us to lunch today. They are back from holiday in the south of France. He asked what I had been doing, hard not to mention the album. It's supposed to be a surprise.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Don't think it's particularly scorchio outside but looks like it could be a mostly dry day.
I've got the dregs of the council letters to deliver this week so will be keeping an even closer eye on the forecast than normal.
I missed the volunteer morning yesterday (I doubt anybody else turned up either) so will try and get down there for a solo session at some point.
Ruby, hope you managed to have a bit sleep and rest.Β
