Hi all. Have done weekly shop, filled car with fuel, went into town and paid a visit to the new chemist( what a fiasco) , posted my two letters off ( feel good ), bought some birthday cards for 23, dropped off a birthday card at SIL's on way home( had long chat) and arrived back home three hours after first going out. OH has done well to walk about but boy, is he suffering  now. Doesn't seem to be getting much better. Even my ' back' started grumbling. @Red maple , you're so right, none of us are 20 anymore.
Busy, time seems to be flying by ,it  doesn't seem that long ago that you said you were on your way back to France😲🤔

Good afternoon all. Had a fun time at Bestie's - played lots of games with her granddaughter before coming home.
I can fully empathise with those with back ache after my recent bout. Touch wood it is fine now. Hope all recover very soon too.

It's been sunny all day today and very hot. Had a nice morning with friend. Came back for lunch and then I cut the back grass. Had to stop a couple of times as it was so hot. Still very pleasant outside, just finished watering the garden and now having a cup of tea listening to the radio. Nothing on TV again.
Glad you had a lovely time with your friend and her granddaughter @Ladybird4
@Songbird-2 you sound like you've had a busy day
@Red maple hope your back ache gets better soon.
@Busy-Lizzie hope the mole hasn't damaged your flower beds too much and you can save the plants

@star gaze lily, Gardeners World is on tonight and not tomorrow night as usual. 21:00 on BBC2. The only thing that I think is worthwhile watching tonight.
I am expecting a parcel delivery tomorrow so I'm glad that all my gadding about is finished for this week.

You're right. GW seems to be the only program worth watching this evening.

Thank you for the Snoopy cartoon @Ladybird4
Always a pleasure to wait for the daily cartoon. Thank you.

Just popping back in.....is it just me or is the line up for Strickly this year not really 'celebrities' I don't know many of them 🤷‍♀️

    Evening all,

Had a busy afternoon in the scorching weather - got the 2nd of 3 rounds delivered. Very warm for a 15km stroll. Bending down to the stupidly low letterboxes may well have some repercussions with my back tomorrow but I'm planning to get the final lot done. It's nowhere near as many so I'm hoping it won't take much more than an hour.

Collapsed in the CA for GW now!
