LB, hope your nether regions don't protest tomorrow🫣😂 ...or any other area for that matter. It's no joke really, landing or your rear with a sudden thud. That's what did my back in for me, decades ago, after slipping on the ice on a pavement.
I have  deep watered all the back garden and OH has tidied up. I cut the grass whilst he did the edges. Prior to that we had had a further visit to the dentist, a chap came round to adjust a new double glazed window handle which had gone very stiff and I had popped to daughters.
Many more jobs to complete but, for today, I am whacked  and can do no more.

@Red maple I think you are right!
Hazel, Getting lots of necessary jobs done in and around the place is a good days work so I can understand you being tired.
I am signing out for now - I will be riveted to The One Hundred tonight. See you all tomorrow.

    Evening all,

Stop mucking about breakdancing around your garden @Ladybird4 and get that iris pulled out :D

I got every letter of the (smaller) 3rd round posted this afternoon on the way to an appointment. Found a few of the ones missed on the other 2 rounds whilst I was at it so a successful (if hot) stroll all told. If I had a £1 for every person that's asked, "Do you work for the council?", I'd probably have doubled my hourly rate. As it is, I've got illegal immigrants, the most corrupt council in the country and a missing road sign to sort out :o

    Good evening all.

Just popped in to say Hello and to see how are you all. I'm a busy bee whole day. Yesterday I was at cottage and harvested a lot of courgettes and even found a full basket of mushrooms in the woods. Now I'm making tomato and mushroom chutney, and tomorrow will make apple and courgettes chutney. Plenty of work, but it will be nice to open one of those jars in the middle of winter.

@Biglad, are you distributing leaflets again?
@Ante1 lovely to see you. Bet you've been run off your feet( really really busy) but your mushroom finding and subsequent chutney will be a nice reward for all your hard work.
Signing out for now. Have a pleasant evening.

It's letters from the local council @Songbird-2 - to confirm the details of eligible voters in each property. Any property that didn't reply to a recent e-mail gets a letter and it seems not many did respond!

    Good morning all.

Lovely sunny and warm morning. You see T'bird, thing are going better. 😁 Today I'll stay at home and doo some cooking. It's carnival in the town, but I don't like things like that so I'll not go. Now is time for cup of tea. Pets are all, of course, already fed ant they are again sleeping.

    Wish you all nice day!
