This is The  Earth ,( Gaia)  a giant illuminated globe installation of the earth as seen from space. It gently revolves constantly, quite beautiful. ( 7 metre diameter) .It gives a unique opportunity to see our home planet and consider the importance of caring for nature.

I'm glad you've had a lovely day @Songbird-2. I can't turn your photo, it's weird not like a normal photo.

I was very pleased about your OH's results @Red maple. What a relief that must have been.

I spent an over an hour this morning weeding and dead heading in flower beds. Then I spent 3 hours this afternoon weeding the veg garden and tying up the raspberries.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Hazel I’m glad you and oh enjoyed your day and had a lovely meal, lovely photos.  Red Maple a relief for you both for the results I’m so pleased for you.  Awake after a teatime snooze.  LB I’ve not tried Alien by Thierry Mugler but have tried Mark Jacobs perfumes. Rosie

    Good morning all.

Hazel, beautiful photos. I'm glad that you enjoyed.

One sleepless night is behind me. Storm was very rough. Whole night rain, thunders and wind. It's middle of the summer, and temperature this morning is 11 ℃. I'll have a lot to cleaning in my front garden, when rain stop. Tomorrow must go to cottage to see what is going one up there. It's time for cup of tea.

Wish you all lovely day, and hope that you have much better weather for weekend.
