Did I really type that? Sorry everyone. At that time of day, mistakes are bound to be made.

How is everyone on this bright new day?

Flipping heck @rowlandscastle444 you are joining Rosie in the early morning postings. Good morning to you both and all later arrivals.
Ssshhh, its dry and sunny outside. Off to see Bestie today - I wonder what we'll get up to.
Lily has had her breakfast, been outside to inspect her territory and is now reclining on my right leg.

Morning all. Enjoy your day with bestie LB. Give up trying to sort the worlds troubles....
We're off to do the weekly shop this morning and then await a delivery. Son and 23 are popping in after school so that will be nice. Have a good day all.

    Morning all.

Dinner party went well last night. Rhubarb fool was runny but they all had 2nd helpings and they all had the orange and almond cake too.

Should be a gardening day. Must do some tidying before we go back to France next week.

Good afternoon all. Had a great time at Bestie's. She has rolled up her old fake grass and has some brand new ready to go down in its place. It feels quite soft and I reckon would make a great indoor carpet. Completely horrid stuff for outside though. She has given me an old x**s tree that was made out of logs so I can add the pieces to my log pile where my little critturs live. Speaking of little critturs, look what squeezed up between the terracotta and grey coloured plant pots near my back door today.
Note the delightful mare's tail growing there too. The end of the hose will give you an idea of scale.

Glad that the dinner party went well Busy - never doubted it would be anything other than a success with your delicious menu. When you go back to France Busy, how long will you be 'away' for? My sister and brother-in-law have just got back from La Londe and they said it was very hot indeed but not quite the 40°C forecast for Italy and Greece. I was thinking about Ante and all that watering he will be doing today
