LB, lovely clemmie. I just wonder where you find place for all of them.😁
I came home an hour ago. It was so pleasant up in the hills, so I spent whole day despite rain. It rained whole last night and till early afternoon today. I'm quite tired, so it's time for dinner, cup of tea and bed.
I like your new clematis, LB, is it scented? Should be with a name like that.
In my previous post I said Daughter 2 was leaving today. I meant D1, D2 didn't stay overnight, she's under an hour away.
A lot of homes for the elderly have people with dementia, Hazel. At least, that's what I found when looking for a home for my Mum, years ago. Mum chose her home, in Battle where she lived. She wanted to be taken out in her wheelchair to the High Street and to the sea. She knew other elderly ladies there. It wasn't a nursing home but when she got to that stage they said she could stay. I looked for nursing homes for her when she needed nursing before I realised she could stay where she was. My main reason for wanting to have a house in France and not moving to OH's cottage in Norfolk is because all my children live in France. When/if I ever go to a home I would like my children to be able to visit me.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Topbird thank you for your post re ears. I’ve ordered some olive oil to use for some days. LB a sunny coat, ess day. Had a walk with dad in the sunshine. Hazel hope you’re rested after your recent visit. Night night all,
Morning @rowlandscastle444 See you can't sleep either. I've been awake since 4 o'clock. Took me ages to nod off, so haven't slept much. Love 'love is' cartoons. Seeing my Poppets today.
Good morning @rowlandscastle444. SGL and all arriving later. I've been reading since 04:00 SGL. My sleep pattern is still rubbish. You will have a marvellous time with the Poppets today.
Bit of World Cup football and then I'll try and make the most of (what looks like) a dry morning. Finally got a coat of paint on the trellis yesterday. Another coat and then fit it to the fence today, fingers crossed.

We have more rain forecast for tomorrow but need some bits and pieces so will venture out at some point. It's beginning to feel a lot like Autumn now.
Night all
