    Good morning SGL and Ante.
Ante, I saw on the news that parts of Croatia reached temperarures of 41°C so make sure you have your sunscreen and plenty of water.
@rowlandscastle444, what a super picture. Thank you for sharing it with us.

    Morning LB and SGL.

LB, don't worry, at my place was chilly 38℃, so I'm good.😂 Just joking a bit, but I'll use sunscreen and will have plenty of water.

SGL, I'm so pleased to see you here more and more. How are you feeling today?

Morning all. We've had lots of rain here so far, it's just stopped so the gardens have been well watered.
@star gaze lily, mum seems to be settling quite well at her new home, thanks. We are going over to see her this week and already have a truckload of stuff to give her! The staff I have spoken to sound nice, we will see the reality soon. ahold to hear you're starting to feel a little better now after covid.
That's  a great pic @rowlandscastle444. How is your house move coming along?
@ante, don't get blown away whilst you're working up at the cottage💨💨 Take breaks little and often and plenty of liquids down you🙂
@Ladybird4 , that picture showing you like your own writing made me laugh. Same here, I admire my own typing writing😂 Hand writing dreadful.
Car has gone to the garage, now we wait.

    Hi @Songbird-2
House move is moving slowly, as expected. Waiting for survey report, and info from both our buyers, plus the people we are buying from. We are ready to go - except not booked removal company, or packed up yet. The latter could take a while, so ought to get started.
We've already got rid of things, and almost cleared the garage!! Managed to part company with some of my books on castles, but my wife would like me to offload all of these in the picture below, plus my castle prints/postcards/paintings/photos/engravings.
    NO CHANCE!!

The prints, etc, take up at least seven times as much space.
  • Afternoon everyone.  Pouring it down.  Hazel good to hear mums settling in.  Lily glad you’re feeling a little better.  LB sounds a fun evening.  Rosie

@rowlandscastle444, all your clearing etc does take me back to when we were moving. We started at the top of the house and moved down. It was torture letting some things go, things we had had for many years if not decades, including my piano. My OH parted with many many Art related items, it wasn't easy but it had to be done as we were downsizing drastically. But once done, and moved, we love it here and do not miss the things now. They are happy memories for us.
