Not going in until tomorrow, depending on strike. Wine glass in the fridge sounds a great idea.

I'm rather behind this morning as I had one of my nose bleeds, probably the hot weather making it dry. I have another RDV with nose man in August so hopefully he will cauterize it again.
Onwards and upwards now @D0rdogne_Damsel and take care of yourself.
It's the same here @tui34 nothing is ripening, plums are still hard, but plenty of courgettes!

@Pat E this is the pattern I use

I use an Aran-weight yarn and make them a bit longer than shown, for winter warmth.

Thank you @Lizzie27, yes that's the one, but have never seen it from the air before so an interesting picture for me. In the mid 60's we were living in Punnets Town - on the Battle to Heathfield road. We then skipped to Cripps Corner, near Seddlescombe for a good few years. A brief stopover in Battle - on the Whatlington road - before hopping over to a long stay in the Ninfield area, finally returning to the Heathfield area before the long trip to where we are now in Wales in 2006. Not moving again!!
So glad you are feeling a bit better already, hopefully the improvement will continue over the next few days.
Hugs to @D0rdogne_Damsel hopefully the future will be more settled for you now.
Also my very best wishes for @punkdoc for tomorrow and for Moira too as she will undoubtedly have to care for and organise you when you come home.

That’s actually a great move forward, @D0rdogne_Damsel. Whatever the house is like, you will make it a home for you and Charlie. Hopefully your ex won’t be anywhere near it, and you can turn it into a safe retreat. You never know what problems might have surfaced with the other house, with all the work that needed doing, it may turn out that you have had a lucky escape.
Hope you have a good night, @punkdoc, an early start for you, but you can catch up on your sleep after tomorrow. Looking forward to your post op report!
Hugs to all suffering aches, pains and the rest.

Thanks for all the good wishes, I will admit to being terrified.

If you like your music, you might find this true story funny. Noel Gallagher meets Keith Richard in a bar in the Caribbean:

Keith: whose singer is the biggest ####
Noel: well I suppose yours has written some of the greatest songs in history
    Keith: yes I thought so.

All the best for tomorrow @punkdoc the waiting is the worst part and it's nearly over. Once you are in there you will be fine, just remember @tui34 has a chilled glass of Rose waiting for you!
