So glad you are still here @punkdoc

@Hostafan1 I wish you had come to the Indian restaurant with us, it was delicious and we have come back with enough food in little boxes for tomorrow night. It was banquet night, poppadoms with dipping sauces, starter, main, veg dish, rice or naan for under £14. OH had rice and I had Pashwari naan but each helping was enough for two. The naan was just dripping with sweet almond filling. OH's starter was a 1/4 chicken Tandoori, enough for a main. There were 11 young soldiers there from a local army base.

    Great news @punkdoc.

Indian sounds really yummy @Busy-Lizzie. I've ordered nearly the same from Sainsburys for tomorrow night.

    Time for bed I think.

I retired, upped sticks and moved away. The only thing I miss, and oh boy do I miss it, is the Indian that we went to from work. 😭😭😭

Great news to wake up toPunkdoc. I’m pleased that you’re ok.

I’ve just been out to the clothes line with the first load of washing … brrr. Trying to get circulation back into my fingers before the next load is ready to go out. With a bit of luck Hubbymightbe available for the next load. 😇

    Hi

Very long night, without sleep, struggling to get pain controlled.
Went into retention, so now catheterised.
On a more positive note, all my vital signs are good and the staff have been lovely. One trained nurse for 10 post op patients, the NHS is really struggling.

Oh dear poor you @punkdoc  but Good morning to you and everyone 😊 ☕️

It’s fantastic to know you’re on the right road and that there’s nothing really to worry about.  Hurrah!

Vital signs being good is encouraging at the age of twenty seven 😂

As you told me when holding my hand and explaining things all the while my son was in ICU … “it’s all par for the course … they deal with it every day”.   From here on it’s getting better 🤗

Good morning all you early birds!!

Lovely to hear from you @punkdoc  The next few days will be interesting hearing from you.  I hope the nurse had at least one assistant - I'm sure she did.  Courage!!  Rosé is on its way!

Beautiful day here for Bastille Day and a holiday.  I hope they will have a decent (not too hot ) day in Paris for the Parade.

Slept in until 7.30 so will need to get a move on.

I hope everyone has a pleasant day.

Oh dear, Punkdoc. No morphine induced slumbers then. Hope they get you comfortable today. Thinking of you.
