Morning all, haven't posted as don't feel up to much lately. Fed up with aches and pains and a stinking cold.

Still no rain but another lovely sunny day by the looks of it.

    Enjoy your day.

Oh no …. can’t be doing with stringy runners @didyw 🤢
and the ones in shops are usually like that. That’s why we grow them. 😊

    Sorry you’re feeling a bit grim @Lizzie27 … hope you’re feeling brighter soon 🤗

    Good morning all.

Sorry about your cold @Lizzie27. My cold and cough is nearly better, wasn't pollen allergy, was a summer cold.

We like runner beans too. My first lot haven't germinated. Sown again but we will be back in the UK on Friday. Handyman will water.

It's French Mother's Day today, usually the last Sunday in May but this year Pentecost was early so it was changed.

We've just been to the monthly flea market in a local village. What a load of old rubbish! We enjoyed looking though.

Thanks for good wishes folks, much appreciated.

Managed to sow some salad leaves in a large pot but have now retreated inside - it's very hot out there. I'm very breathless so haven't much energy.

So far we have exactly four runner bean plants, the only ones to germinate, I wonder why this year. Can't be bothered to sow any more.

Hi everyone   yes @didyw not sure if I was clear we are on river Danube heading for the delta and the Black Sea,  as it borders lots of countries and meanders about a lot at this end we keep changing countries! I  am on the thing &I can hardly keep up. Sorry no pics from today as phone was out of charge so all pics are on big camera.  Picture of folk dancing from last night won't load Internet is struggling.

We had a huge thunderstorm and lots of lovely rain. Garden looks a bit battered but it's not thirsty and it will recover.
