Thanks @Busy-Lizzie - he takes one tablet in the morning which is a preventative (but which is giving him a headache each time - a known side-effect) and a spray for under his tongue when he gets the pain.Ā  He's not a happy bunny!

You can't share our bathroom it's too small, and the only toilet is in there. Did think about doing the same to him, knock on the door, present 2 meal options ask which one he wants. Then I thought that's bringing me down to his level.. should be posting on curmudgeonly. Collecting grandaughter at 6,plan was to go to our fav restaurant, not far away. Normally I wouldn't eat that late(hiatus hernia) but you can only park there after 6. Hubby "are we still going out",yes,"well I don't want to,it's too hot", we can sit outside,"it's too hot to eat". Said I was greatful he informed me before I showered and change. I had a small slice of toast early,a small slice of my homemade lemon drizzle before 12,was saving myself. Am absolutely starving now
Ā Says take grandaughter to McDonald's,well, there's nothing there I eat!! He's just done himself a microwave burger. I could swear!!

    That is amazing progressĀ @Dovefromabove!Ā

Just had a potter outside with a cuppa enjoying the warm evening - one of life’s highlights for me.

    Good morning all 😊 ā˜•ļøĀ
Ā Wall to wall blue sky this morning … and we’re listening to a pair of quarrelsome magpies accompanied by a blackbird repeating the beginning of Beethoven’s Fifth over and over again … it sounds totally bonkers!

Today there’ll be some watering and weeding, and a quick trip to the farm shop.Ā

Talking of watering … our butts are empty … we have no choice but to water the blueberries with our very hard Norfolk water and cross our fingers. I’m thinking that the best we can do is repot in fresh ericaceous compost when the butts are full again … if the bushes are still alive then.Ā

Morning folks, been up about half hour.Dove that's great news,is Rob wearing pressure garments? Another wall to wall blue. We were listening to a blackbird singing pretty much all day. He was singing '"I'm a. Little birdie, little birdie". Boy was he loud! Lovely though. Hubby put our blueberrys in the ground, large amount of ericaceous compost, they were difficult to water in pots.Ā  They are in the fruit cage, and I find it difficult to open the hinges to water. LostĀ  one the heatwave in 2018, my oldest daughter bought some on Amazon about 8 inches tall, and they are now doing much better than ours. Need to buy some more. Have a good weekend whatever you are doing..

@Nanny Beach Ā atĀ the moment he’s wearing tight tubigrip on his arms and he has pressure gloves but he’s been measured for some ā€˜sleeves’ and hopefully they’ll be ready for him at his next visit to Broomfield … as well as maintaining pressure on the scars they’ll protect them from the damaging sunlight.Ā

    Good morning all!

Bright sunshine this morning after a heavy day yesterday. Ā The skies opened up around 6pm and put on a great show with thunder, lightning and - yes - rain!! Ā

So glad I did some weeding yesterday and had a little diggle around the plants.

Here's hoping you all have a pleasant weekend. Ā
