    Good morning and G’Day.

No rain so I think we’ve missed it for the week now - going to be 25 all week! (Sorry Pat)

I have a few days off so yippee. Must do my mindfulness homework every day!

Farm ‘experience’ sounds fantastic Hosta 🚜

Have a good day all 😎

    Hi all

Another scorcher here. We had a violent storm for about an hour yesterday evening, so hopefully everything is a bit fresher outside.
Have fun with your family, @Hostafan1

    Morning all.

It was great to see my old friend, S, in Kent again. We had a lovely lunch on the terrace and she showed me around her pretty garden. I showed her photos on my laptop. My OH and her OH got on well too.

We are back in OH's cottage in Norfolk but there is a dreadful dieselly smell in the kitchen. It is coming from the boiler. The hot water and heating are turned off though. There is also an immersion heater so we can use that instead. OH has rung the boiler man, he's coming tomorrow.

The garden looks OK, lawns and edges are very neat and Kev has tied some plants up. Quite a bit in flower but it is all pretty dry. I wanted to put the sprinkler on last night but the filter was bunged up. I've sorted it now.

We have to go to the SM. I bought some milk and bread in a service station on the way home last night.

Good afternoon all. I was thinking last night that this was perfect weather for ballooning when I heard the familiar roar of the gas burner of someone trying hard to stay airborne. This balloon caused a bit of excitement as it looked for a safe landing spot. Just to the left is the recreation ground which they have landed in before but this time they drifted over it and landed in the small field behind our local pub. You can't see from the photo but the main Portsmouth-London railway line is just underneath them.

Afternoon all.  Thanks for the tip about the tennis ball - I thought, oh, I'm going to try that.  Then I remembered I don't have a tennis ball.  But my daughter has shown me a couple of yoga poses which I am doing.  The pain has become more localised on my left side.  But I feel a bit woozy as well so I'm wondering if I've also picked up a bug.

Just done a dash into town for provisions - OH doesn't drive and neither OH nor I were up for walking in this heat.  But going to sit in the cool of the living room now.
