    Good morning all.

After the rain - no more.  Everywhere else seems to be getting it except around the Gulf of Lion.  Grrrr!!!  I expect @Obelixx and @Floralies have lots.

Lovely cruise @Allotment Boy   Thinking of doing something like that too.  Not keen on cruises as such - but gliding along the Danube could be an idea.

@Yviestevie I'm glad your OH was able to do something useful.  Difficult to realise that you can't do things that you used to be able to do!!  Nice snap @Hostafan1  Keep warm @Pat E

    Have a pleasant day folks.

we were promised rain overnight - none arrived. Maybe it went north of us to Philippa or Aunty Rach?

We seem to have had some sprinkles of rain during the night, the ground is damp and the general 'greenery' of the plants and trees looks more cheerful, but the garden soil is still bone dry. Back to watering the pots today as dare not let them dry out.

I can see a little Westie dog walking over that bridge @Allotment Boy, enjoy the rest of your cruise.

Loved the picture of your journey to work Hosta, what a view to gladden the soul.

It's Monday folks, enjoy the new week.   :)

    Morning folks and G’Day Pat.

We had a small amount of rain overnight - not much as the patio was dry again this morning.

Off to take Dad for his bloods then it’s my Mindfulness course 🧠

Have a good day all 😎

Our washing dried on the garden washing line overnight … it’s folded and put away in the airing cupboard.

    Good morning Forkers

Hot and dry, no rain in sight for at least another week, I sense a hosepipe ban coming now the elections are over.😄

A good start of the week everyone!

Hi all, just about to be told departure info for tomorrow.  @tui34, we've never fancied an open cruise either to big too many people for us, but the river ships only take 100 -200 and are very leisurely and ultra smooth. Sometimes you have to check to see if you are moving.  We like them as everything is included food  excursions etc (at least on the ones we've done). So they can seem expensive but when you realise you hardly have to pay for anything else,  except drinks, they are good value.

    Morning all.

We had a big thunderstorm in the night with rain in Eastbourne. Much cooler now.

We are going back to Norfolk today, but stopping for lunch with old friends from when I lived in Kent. I haven't seen S for years, really looking forward to it. They came to my old house but over 10 years ago.

    Hi all

Steaming hot today, so sitting in the shade cogitating.
We had another visitor last night, ate all the Rose buds on several bushes. I think it was probably a Muntjac, so annoying.
