Thanks folks … OH is feeling pretty ok now … the procedure wasn’t as radical as expected … however they may need to go the whole hog if the problem doesn’t heal properly now. So anyway, he’s not needing much extra tlc after all … for the time being at least. 😊

night night all … sleep tight 🛌 🐑

Morning 😀 sunny and cool this morning. No surprise there. Rain is expected tomorrow.
Thanks for the comments about my knitting adventures. It keeps me busy.

We have a weather girl here at the moment on the weather channel and her voice drives me crazy, so I have the sound turned off. 🙄 why do they mispronounce some words.  Yes, I know, don’t choke Hosta, but it drives me crazy. Australian pronunciation is different too, but I’m used  ours.

    Good morning all.

Cloudy but bright and warm.  My vegetable garden seems to have stopped brooding and the plants are starting to lift their heads.  Got a bit nervous there for a minute!!

@Dovefromabove     Well done to Rob!!  Good morale is not so easy when you can't do the things you used to be able to do.   I hope your OH doesn't have to continue with the procedure.  I agree with you about the weather girl @Pat E - if they are in the public eye, at least get the pronunciation correct - we all have our accents.  I know that there are "speech therapists" to coach through the difficult names.

Still taking it easy after the cortisone injection in my knee which seems to have eased the hip as well.  Dog walks/runs are by bike at the moment.

A little light weeding but honestly the ground is so dry, the weeds just break off.  I soaked an area last night, so will do that bit.

I hope you we able to take some time out yesterday as @AuntyRach suggested.  Just a few minutes of mindfulness is beneficial.

A good hoeing is worth two waterings.

    Morning.
Got up early, done the ironing on the cool balcony and now I am watering the raspberries.
Sorry about your experience @Nanny Beach. Anyway,  what were you doing on another forum?🙂🙃
Best wishes Dove with all the work that has come your way. But take some time for yourself even if it is only a coffee hiding behind the shed.

    Morning all.

We are going to a friend's funeral this morning. He died last week. In his 80s but looked after his wife who is a bit frail. I've known him for 15 years but OH knew him longer when his first wife was still alive.

Tui,  since we watch a lot off stuff on the History Channel, I’m heartily sick of hearing about Ay Dolf Hitler for example. 😡

Morning folks, not really late to the party! Been busy. Up at 6, in the green house, sowed romaine lettuce, cornflowers, Aubrieta, Dianthus, which are now happy (I hope) in an east facing side window in the north facing spare room,if that makes sense. Also emptied out some weeds did some weeding, in-between patio slabs. Was going to add it to the council garden waste.  Too late, they came at 7! Best wishes to all concerned Busy-Lizzie. Coccinella, what was I doing, haha, well,it's like here,we don't only chat about gardening. I was trying to be helpful, the original poster wasn't even asking about the actual plant. Someone else decided to give it its"Latin name".It went on from there. Another glorious day. We have been making 30kw a day, electricity. I've got the washing up to date, and did my ironing in the conservatory last night.

Good morning all, my, you have all been so busy early in the morning! Another storm and rain yesterday evening, but OH managed to cut the grass beforehand. Our field is still too wet for the farmer to cut. Slugs and snails in abundance chomping my Pumpkin plants, I have Melon plants to go out but I dare not yet. Off to the SM this morning so catch up with you all later.
