Well the air turned blue in here when Hubby transferred the info from my old iPad to the new one 😂, but it seems to be going ok. It’s slippery to hold, but there’s supposed to be a cover somewhere in the packaging so I’ll get him to have a look for it. 😍
otherwise I’ll have to manage with it the way it is. Seems to be good.
Music festival last night, so after my barre au sol lesson, limped to the town square (the promenade) to watch a flamenco show (about 15 minutes). It was lovely but sooooo humid and unbearable. Went home afterwards as I was so tired after being a carer for the last 10 days. Home alone now!!
And humid it is. The air is heavy. Steely grey skies. No wind. No rain ....yet. Surely it will break soon?!!
@Pat E A new iPad is a good present. I hope you don't get too frustrated learning its new ways!! I trust your day is going well.
interesting your proverb. I think we should consider old sayings regarding climate change, no way we "posons les vêtements" today. Last month more like.🥵🥵🥵 Only a shower during the night, it was supposed to be a downpour, maybe it will happen later. Hospital day today for OH.
Morning everyone, a bit mixed weather wise, the clouds were building up yesterday but o more rain. A warm sticky night ensued. We were planting and watering as it got dark last eve slowly catching up. The tribe is decending on Sunday as GD N is home from America later today. Need to get house and garden presentable in time.
Morning all. Cooo yesterday was a bit of a day. Mellors turned up early and caught me half way through coffee 1. Rude! Nevertheless it meant an early start so off we went to pampas corner. In an attempt to control said PG we wrestled about with ropes and straps until eventually I stabbed M in the finger with a very old, very worn, very pointy gardening fork. Blood injury stops play! What a mess and what a stupid accident I don't know who felt worse (though he was definitely in more pain). On he soldiered until rain then stopped play but the PG is now a stump awaiting the tender ministrations of Diggerboy. LUNCH Down to the sheugh we go. Diggerboy is coming on Saturday so a path must be cleared big enough for him and his kit and equipment. That took till four and the fire could be seen from space. I'm surprised I can move today. I lost the will to live clear wet soggy branches etc at about an hour in but M is tenacious relentless so it's done and so am I! Today is the calm between two storms so more burning and clearing but I'm going solo on this one. I bet I'll be finished looong before four o'clock! 😉
Morning all and G’Day plus Happy Birthday to @Pat E (sorry it’s late).
It’s been a perfect temperature so far this week - low to mid 20s. No rain forecast for the rest of the week (luckily one full water butt) but rain next week.
Have a good day everyone. I’ve got a busy work week (afternoon shift today) but will catch up when I can 👋🏼
Morning all, heavy rain again this morning as per usual, it looks like some of my plants are rotting. We are still trying to shake off our colds, we need some sun! My son had a follow up appointment yesterday with the cardiologist, she couldn't believe she was looking at the same person she had read about in his notes, she said he must be a fighter! There are no heart problems and he can have his monitor removed when the batteries run out. I'm so pleased for him and his wife as they have come through so much, as he had to support her with cancer as well.

Have to make an early start this morning as I’m taking OH to work and he’s opening up today … more coffee needed ☕️
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
