    Morning all,

I have managed to read back, but not much time to post, busy week-end here, my chef is off today too, so my usual 'day off' is cancelled. I am not too bothered as Charlie is away, he arrived safely in Berlin and was met by his friend, such a relief, but he's very sensible so I don't know why I was worried.

Hope all poorly people start to get better and enjoy the rest of your trip @Allotment Boy .

This time next week I'll be in Paris, so something good to look forward to.

    Good day to all. :)

Ok,  the washing is in, but hanging on drying racks  inside to finish drying.
We also cut some more firewood and we both feel good about that because we have six days of rain predicted.  🙄🙄

    Morning,
good thing you got that firewood cut @Pat. It sounds as if you’re going to need it. Getting the washing outdoors, even if it’s not completely dry, seems to make it smell fresher somehow, doesn’t it?
A nice day forecast here today, so as I’ve a few plants to pot up, will do that later plus put the washing out to dry once it’s finished it’s run in the machine.
Ooh, Paris sounds lovely @D0rdogne_Damsel. We went there many years ago, and loved it. Came back broke, though 😁 (it was in the days of travellers cheques and no debit cards and we were literally down to our last pound when we boarded the plane for home 😲).

    Morning all.

Sunny this morning, thunder storms this afternoon.

We are going to visit an Open Garden this afternoon. It's owned by the secretary of the gardening club. I've been there before for a Rose Group meeting. Not open this morning, I hope the forecast storms hold off this afternoon.

Morning all, dry and sunny at the moment but like Busy storms are forecast (again) this afternoon. I'll put the washing out and hope it dries before the storms. OH will want to watch the Cup Final later but if the weather is bad we won't get a TV signal.

    Hi all.

Sunny here, but still getting cold nights. Some of the more tender things I have put out are showing signs of damage.

You know I threw coffee over the sofa the other day?  I threw it over our bed this morning … white duvet cover 🙄
Thank goodness for the new washing machine 🧺

What kind of joyless person complains of blossom on their anything!? @Yviestevie I hope your wrist and your neighbour improves soon!
Some people are just wired wrong aren’t they! They’ll be complaining when the leaves drop in Autumn next!

Have a good weekend all. Take care those with niggles and nags.
Off to a plant sale and open garden soon 😎

Your NDN sounds a pain @Yviestevie.  Hope your wrist is strong enough in time for your painting holiday.

Do try and keep your coffee in your cup @D0rdogne_Damsel!

It was blimmin' cold yesterday but today the sun is out and so will I be in a minute.

Hope everyone has as nice a day as we have here - apart from @Pat E  - but at least you are prepared, with washing washed and logs chopped!  Time to cosy up.

You’ll laugh, Didy. We’ve just watched the first episode of Vera. Brought back some  memories. 😂😂
