    Morning all.
Diggerboy is coming today so eggs will be broken. I cannot even begin to imagine how bad it's going to look when he's done for the day but I want an omelette so needs must. The weather promises 24 degrees and cloudyish meaning I will be worse than useless; I will be useless and very very sweaty! Nice! We had a load of rain yesterday too so sauna time.
The stumps will be gone, the sheugh will be cleared, bits will be flat and I can finally start my wildflower strip...cue the music. 😲 The dogwood stumps will be cleared ready for the bog garden, the bit beside the new garage will be filled up ready to seed and the trough will be dug ready for the power and water to said garage. Flags will be lifted and moved to floor the lean-to. It's going to be great. He's going to have to come back another day isn't he? 😕
I have him in my phone as Wonderboy. That says it all!

    Morning all.

Good luck with it all @plant pauper. It will be worth it in the end, sounds great.

We are staying for the weekend with OH's niece in Bristol.
Took us 6 1/2 hours to get to Bristol. Loads of traffic and roadworks, the odd accident and a traction engine pulling a gypsy caravan didn't help.

    Going to Westonbirt Arboretum today.

I slept very badly. Don't know how anyone sleeps in a city with traffic rushing past and people chatting loudly. Don't people go to bed in cities? Too hot as well, must ask niece for a sheet tonight.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Hi Forkers

got up early to do some work in the front garden. Must beat the harvest mites who no doubt are already lurking. OH got croissants so a nice breakfast for us on the balcony after the toil. I intend to do nothing for the rest of the day.

We had some rain 2 days ago, some is expected next week, let's hope it is true.

Wishing you all good day. Especially to you Hostafan.

Dinner finished and I’m feeling very happy.  Risotto with a lovely tasty sauce that Hubby made. 😋

Morning all,  another hot and humid night here. Even the 1 tog duvet is too much. A little overcast first thing but the sun is breaking through now. Trying to get ready for all the troops tomorrow.  We surprised  GD N at Heathrow the other day she was only expecting her Father.  Dinner tomorrow is her official welcome home after 5 months away, and a welcome to cousins step son who has come for his first visit to the UK.

Back from the doc's - booster shot done that's, what, five now?  No stickers any more :(

Then my next shift stewarding the exhibition and then, and then, maybe a bit of gardening!

Good luck with today @plant pauper - that's a lot of work!

Sounds yummy @Pat E - we do like hubbies who can cook don't we?

Back from the farm shop and butcher .., I got there just before the rush descended 😊
Weve got a chicken for tomorrow … I think I’ll rub it with lemon and tarragon … and we have a cauliflower .., I might roast that in wedges, and some new potatoes ..,

Hello all, It's lovely to see the (hot) sun again. Just had coffee on the shady terrace after deadheading the roses and salvias, the ground is still so boggy after all the rain. Mammogram was all good yesterday, still can be concerning after cancer over twenty years ago!
We still have our coughs after our bad colds, perhaps the better weather will help to  get rid!
    Enjoy your weekend   B)
