LB, we're definitely going to write the instructions down after this. Currently, we can't use it. Have had the hot metal flat thing out and have caught up with that activity.nSkies are slowly turning a grey colour and a cool  breeze has sprung up.Â
I think I had all your rain as well as mine @Biglad. It went darker and darker then the lightning started and boy oh boy did it torrent down. A lot of my pots got blown over and once it had eased off I put my waterproof jacket on and went out to put them all upright again. The next time it is dry enough I will need to have a look at my guttering at the back becase I had a veritable cascade of water from it indicating its probably blocked. Ho hum what a nuisance. I bet my water butts are well on the way to being full again too.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
LB and Biglad, we are still waiting for the storm to hit here. We’ve had a little bit of rain and that’s it. Think the storm has bypassed us.  You’ve had our share LB by the sounds of it. The heavy showers soon sort the gutters out and show us they need doing- another job to sort now for you.Â
We’ve both had a pottering sort of afternoon, OH is now watching footy.Â
I'm watching the cricket highlights and there is another torrential downpour occurring outside. I am signing out for tonight so I'll see you all in the morning. Enjoy your wet/dry evenings.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Evening all. Another dry but not so sunny day in southern Sweden. Very pleasant temps here. Having looked at the weather actuals and the forecasts I suspect my poor garden is still dryzabone. Half a chance of something tonight - fingers crossed.
Another day of prehistory for us today, visiting a site of petroglyphs (rock carvings) and a large cyst burial tomb featuring unusual and uncommon carvings. All around 3000 years old - lovely stuff. Photos may follow if they're the right way up.Â
Have moved on to a different camp site further along the coast. Very well maintained, very quiet and very friendly. The scenery is very beautiful and very similar to the west coast of Scotland.
Our immediate neighbours are 2 vans with German couples and we've been having a nice chat with them tonight. Us in broken German, them in much better English. We know hardly any Swedish beyond Hej (hello) and tack (thank you). Fortunately everybody but everybody speaks excellent English - and it's the language used by all non-Swedish visitors. Lots of signs in English too which is helpful...
Off to an island for a mooch and lunch tomorrow.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

It's warm and sunny. I hope we get the storms, at least the rain.Â
Not planning on working at anything today. May pop to the pub later for a real ale.

More rain still required.
