Another hurrah from me for a proper Landy @Pat E, nothing better produced since those early ones. Beautiful day here for a change. Heavy frost overnight but now the sun is out and looks ready to last the day. Daughter went off to Sussex yesterday evening so a quiet and peaceful Easter for me! Great to hear the good news regarding your son's progress @Dovefromabove, hope those splints wont prove too uncomfortable for him. Have a great weekend everyone and enjoy yourselves whatever you are planning to do.
Wall to wall sunshine here, but very nippy. We were woken early by 2 male Mallards fighting for the attention of our female, very brutal, a bit like Friday night in the city centre.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
The sun was streaming through the bedroom window as we had our coffee in bed.
The knee pillows that I ordered arrived so that OH can lie on his side without twisting his hip. I got one for me too. It's very comfy at first, then I woke up 2 hours later and it felt like a hard lump. But I think my knee likes it. Quicker going downstais to make the coffee this morning.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Morning all, Beautiful sunshine here but very nippy out. I have some seed sowing planned and a possible trip to Ashwoods. Hosta the new one isn't with the other dino's. We saw all those. It's 3 times the size of a brontosaurus and is hidden away somewhere in a separate room. It's a shame we couldn't see it as really that was the point of the trip. Never mind the boys had a great day and weren't too disappointed.

Sunny but nippy here too. The last time I went to the NHM Dippy was still there - the firm I was working for hired it for the annual dinner so we were there, on small tables all around, in the evening. It was magical. The first time I took my daughter, with friends and their children, my daughter, about 5 at the time, went missing. Utter panic. But she was soon found, just casually looking at the exhibits. Glad progress is still being made @Dovefromabove. Such a long trip to Broomfield and back though - thank heavens for Wonky! Envious of your trip to Chelsea @Busy-Lizzie. I went twice, a long time ago with a friend (the perfect companion) when I lived in Twickenham. That was when they still had the old marquee. I'll never forget the scent as we walked in there - heaven. We were both RHS members at the time, so went on Members Day.
I know a lot of people are very sniffy about, Chelsea, but I have been twice and I loved it. The Show gardens are pure theatre and there is so much to see and learn in the big tent. I would go again, like a shot, if I could still walk.

I'd go again, if I could go on Monday and avoid the crowds
I have been very lazy in the last couple of days. Weather is so so, but Easter day should be better. We will be going out for dinner as it is also my friend's 65th. I went to Ikea this morning and guess what: Bought some plants . Sempervivum, always good to have and it was a very low price.
If it stays dry I will be brave and plant out my one artichoke. OH is preparing kedgeree for lunch, oh I love it when I don't have to cook. Especially when I am sitting here chatting😊.
I have read all the threads but too many to answer individually. Glad that Dove's son is on the mend although it must be quite hard work for mum. But mums will be mums and just get on. Dads too, I like to add. @chicky ah the heartache when they go. But it is good that they go, they need their experiences without us.
