There are some beautiful churches in this corner of the world @Busy-Lizzie. I went to a Christmas eve carol service in Laxfield last year and watched bats flying in the rafters to the music!

    Good morning Sunshine @Hostafan1
Hope you have a good play in the garden today,  the weather is supposed to pretty good! X

    Hi all

Foggy here, which is a bit of a shock after the glorious weather of the last few days.
Have a well deserved day in your own garden, @WonkyWomble
We are about to eat sausage sandwiches, which is as good a start to any day as I can think of.

    Good morning,
    Happy Easter to you all.🐣
It’s a very grey start to the day here, a marked contrast to yesterday. However, it doesn’t feel too cold.
Enjoy the time in your gardens those of you planning to be in them.

Oooh … sausage sandwiches @punkdoc … are you a brown sauce man?

    🤔 or English mustard?

Good morning Forkers and a Happy Easter for those who celebrate either religiously or with a family meal.  (and both)!!

Slow cooked lamb here @Busy-Lizzie    A recipe using tamarind paste and spices as a marinade/rub.    Smells divine!   3 hours at 130°C.  Roastie vegetables and green beans to accompany.

Weather fine here in this part of the world.

A pleasant and enjoyable day to you all.

Happy Easter all!  Hope @Nanny Beach and @WonkyWomble are having a good day after all their hard work on behalf of others.

Bright & sunny here but no gardening (again) as a few things to do before going round to our daughter's.  Looking forward to hearing about youngest g'daughter's skiing trip.

Spent yesterday outside at a little market in the middle of town.  The sun finally appeared when we were packing up and it was a bit chilly.  But I made some good sales and it was lovely having chats with what felt like pretty much everyone I know in our town as they visited the market.

Have decided I need to rethink my chocolate/cheese consumption - but not until after Easter.

Has to be brown sauce, @Dovefromabove, red on bacon sandwiches. Anything else would be sacrilegious imo.

Proper English style brown gravy for me on sausages, but not in a sandwich. Or real tomatoes not ketchup.

Great afternoon everyone,  sounds as though you are all having a good day. Warm and sunny here after a cool start.
Anyone got a spare pair of arms and shoulders?  I  have been using the rotavator on the plots,  home for lunch and a collapse in the armchair for the rest of the day🥵

Sunny day here! Went for a walk this morning for a bit of exercise to counterbalance meal tonight. Wood anemones all in bloom, quite lovely.

Yesterday I ended up scrubbing the back steps leading to the garage, hard work and pains afterwards but a satisfying feel.
It is lovely to see you all doing something in the garden. May spring be on our side!
