    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
    Wrap up warm @Pat E
    Hope you’re feeling ok today @Hostafan1 😊
It looks as if we’ve had some more rain overnight but its not raining at the moment and it looks as if the sky is clearing …

    Morning all!!

Bright, sunny and cold here.  Windy as usual and we are in for a week of dropped temperatures.  @D0rdogne_Damsel has rain - much needed here.  Glad to see you have the situation in control DD - all you have to do now is manage the guilt feelings he will bestow upon you on his return.  Been there.  My sympathies.  Courage!!

I hope Charlie got to visit the Uffizi Art Gallery/Museum just next to the Duomo in Florence.  Well worth a visit.  My brother and his family live in the same town in Switzerland as the Schumacher family.  Such a tragedy.  Such a lovely man.

Good for you @AuntyRach  You are doing a great job, long hours and little recompense.

And glad you got an appointment at the doctor's @Hostafan1  2/3 week wait here.  Ridiculous.  Casualty is overloaded with people who can't get an appointment at the drs.

We are in serious need of rain in this part of France.  Summer hasn't even got here and we are drought stricken already with  water restrictions.

I hope you all have a pleasant enough day, albeit cold and wet!!

    Morning all.

I had a terrible night, tummyache. Such a shame as OH had booked lunch at our favourite seafood restaurant in Southwold.

We loved Florence too, amazing seeing all those statues and paintings in real life.

I agree with you about Sheridan Smith @chicky, such a good actress. She was brilliant as Cilla Black.

Good morning everyone,  bright but cold start here. I hope everyone is intact after yesterday's wind and rain.
I am going to move some of my seedlings to the Allotment greenhouse as I have run out of room here already. It's a bit risky as the temperature will fluctuate a lot more but needs must.

    Good morning Forkers

Charlie really looks cool with his purchases @D0rdogne_Damsel. He looks as he is having a good time in Italy.

It's been very windy all night, headphones on and still could hear the rattling of the blinds. Now we have a drizzle. If the trees hadn't been on flower I'd say it looked Novemberish.

@Pat E sorry you are cold, going towards winter, aren't you? Never mind, we take it in turns 😉

Morning all, I to have been suffering with bad "inards" the last couple of days, I think mine is just a flare up of IBS, the cramps are now subsiding.
Cold and grey here with showers so I'll not bother to take the fleece off the seedlings in the GH. We have a chap here finishing odd jobs in the new extension, but we think there is going to be some haggling over his estimated quote!

    Thank you @Dovefromabove

I have IBS too @floralies, mild most of the time. I'm wondering if that bottle of Champagne that OH and I shared could have anything to do with it. We were saving it for after OH's hip replacement. I sometimes have trouble with fizzy drinks.

It's difficult to know what triggers these flareups isn't it @Busy-Lizzie, I have the added problem of histamine intolerance and wonder at times if it's worth eating at all! I have to say I have been rather lax lately in taking probiotics so that may have a bearing.
