Warms your heart @Dovefromabove when you hear stories like that.
Evening all,  Bit of a mixed day today saw the grandsons after their week away in the lakes and that was lovely.  Arthritis in hand was so bad that I couldn't style my hair, just managed to wash it, and my back was also hurting.  Was talking to Gabriel and said 'Oh dear I feel a bit like an old woman today'  Gabriel replied 'but Nanny, you are an old woman'.  Out of the mouths of babes eh.

What a lovely bunch of colleagues @Dovefromabove. As Yvie says, a heart warming story.

I'm so glad you're better @Busy-Lizzie but don't you think it might be better to see the GP and see what he/she thinks. Sounds as thought it warrants more investigation.

Just seen an amusing pic of my son whose wife took him to the beachfront for coffee and cake this morning. Foot up on a chair and drinking coffee. All right for some!

Morning everyone.  A cold but sunny start today.  Lovely friends that are helping with your son Dove. Makes you feel good. 😁

Hi Yviestevie. 😁. I hope you can get back to sleep. I’m being lazy - playing jigsaw puzzles on my iPad.

    Morning Forkers.

Well @punkdoc snap.  :'( I am no longer going to Mull either. I felt that I wouldn't have coped with potentially bad news while away. So mine is more to do with chickening out than with physical difficulties.

Lovely to hear about kindness @Dovefromabove, thanks.

I am a very bad sleeper @Yviestevie. Usually I make an effort not to go online at stupid o'clock, didn't manage this morning. 🙃

Coccinella, I didn’t expect another Forker to be on at this time of day, but nice to see you anyway. 😁. We’ve just had some crusts toasted with cheese and Danish Salami.  Time for an afternoon nap I think. 🤭

    Good morning to you all.

I think the whole garden needs a good soaking.  We've had strong winds and everything is soooo dry.

Probably make a start on the tax declaration today.

My ground is so wet, I can't take the lawn mower onto it
