Afternoon all, lots of aches and pains today after gardening yesterday.  I've managed to put together a second set of shelves for the greenhouse and transferred some of the bigger seedlings out there.  It's sunny here with a very cool wind.  Had some rain this morning so everything should be well watered.
    Enjoy your trip Punkdoc.

    Evening everyone.

I’ve had a non-gardening day too. It was 15 degrees yesterday and just 7 today! I was going to move back into the main bedroom and main lounge this week but it’s just not warm enough yet so will hang on for another couple of weeks as there’s a few frosts in the 10 day forecast yet 🙄

I’ve done my shopping, cleaned the kitchen and been to Dad’s to check and moisturise his feet (diabetic). Friday evening is ‘easy’ dinner night so I have some lovely bap rolls to have ‘New York’ style with pastrami, cream cheese and gherkins.

I hope everyone is doing ok - aches and worries aside. Have a lovely Friday evening all.

My garden and I live in South Wales.

Have a lovely weekend with Charlie @D0rdogne_Damsel, bet you're glad to have him home.

  • Weather here is lovely at the moment, able to eat outside, which I love.

Can't stop seeing tulips, so many and so lovely.

    After lilies my favourite flowers.

Just organised a Coronation Lunch here, including Coronation quiche, not terribly exciting, but we're adding salmon to it to make it a bit more interesting. Jersey Royal Canapés also on the carte, with Coronation chicken, prawn cocktail and beetroot humus. Colourful if nothing else.

The French seem to love our Royals. We have to do something, it's expected, even if we're not entirely in agreement with everything.

I've read thru the Coronation thread, and as expected there's mixed feelings. I do think though, that whatever we think we think, we need to be wary of our sources....

Business is business though, and we need to give our customers what they expect.

Bizarrely, the Sunday after the Coronation we've something going on here called the Ostensions, a religious tradition which also involves decorating the premises in red (not white) and blue so we're mixing the whole lot together.

Trying desperately not to be too mercenary about everything, but people pleasing is part of my business.
