We too have full-fat fibre @Busy-Lizzie. It's so worth it!
My daughter isn't happy with the nose ring either. My granddaughter was badgering her while she was ill with covid. So she badgered her dad who just said, well. if it's what you want. That was the green light for her. But as she had already been told to wait until she was 16 and she she'll be 17 in November I guess its fair enough. Neither of my granddaughters are into tattoos thank heavens. At the moment!
Meetings and planning for me this week. The deadline for a grant application is on Friday so I will be heads down working on that. And a couple of members of the team are interviewing today for a project coordinator position we already have the funding for. Fingers crossed one of them is suitable.
Afternoon all, glad your OH's medical visit went well @Busy-Lizzie and also hope @coccinella's and @Ergates appointments are okay.
I tried one of those programmes a long time ago @D0rdogne_Damsel, but couldn't quite get the hang of it, they are probably far easier to use now. Do hope you get the keys soon.
OH and I had to drive to a town about 10 miles away in order to pay for the Malvern tickets in person to the local coach company. That was fine I thought until I discovered they wanted cash, cheque or bank transfer, none of which I could do on the spot. We had to drive into the town centre, find a cashpoint, join a lengthy queue to get out again (roadworks at 3 way traffic lights!) and go back to the coach office. However we did end up in a GC for coffee and cake on the way home (and a mini shopping spree -my god the prices!). Once home we decided we were too full up on Rocky Road for lunch. Not had RR before and won't ever again, seriously worried about my teeth! It then rained all afternoon so I haven't done anything much.
Today is Anzac Day - we remember not only the brave soldiers of the Great War but soldiers who have been fighting wars forever. May they rest in peaceL
I recently watched The Anzac Girls on TV about Australian and NZ nurses in the war, very moving.
OH has 2 more medical appointments today but I won't go with him. Covid jab at a localish medical centre this morning then Physio this afternoon at the hospital. I'll do the shopping for stuff to take back to France, such as Marmite and golden syrup.
We are going to stay with friends in Wiltshire on Thursday and we take an overnight ferry to France on Saturday. We'll stay with Daughter 1 near Poitiers en route. Son 1 will be staying the weekend too. I'm looking forward to seeing my grandchildren and my garden.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Good morning all 😊 ☕️ A bright start to the day here in Norfolk, then a sudden sharp shower and a beautiful rainbow 🌈 … now I’m heading for the shower … no rainbows in there tho … 😉
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I have been wondering how @Hostafan1 is and if he still has tummy pain. My pain has gone and I seem to be back to normal. It lasted about 6 days but the bad pain only a day or two. Have an appointment with my French GP on 5th May.

Had a great weekend exploring gardens. Went down to Somerset for a couple of days and went to East Lambrook (Margery Fish) - charming, Forde Abbey - grand and beautiful, Bishops Palace in Wells - delightful, and then back to Sussex for the tulip festival at Pashley Manor - spectacular, although many of the tulips have yet to come out - the cold weather has held them back this year.
Spent yesterday sheltering in the greenhouse potting things on. Today I’ll be getting the broad beans and peas in the ground - and sowing another(final) set.
Morning all. @Busy-Lizzie, I'm afraid I still do. Two lots of blood/ urnine tests both came back normal. I've to call the Doc again tomorrow. On a plus note the new antidepressant / sleeping pills combo have been a great success. If only it would warm up a bit I'd be feeling much better.

Just watched the 5th Wild Isles. The filming is amazing. I love it that it's all happening in our own beautiful islands.
